Why would anyone come back because your response did NOT include corrective actions, You could have gained some credibility by addressing the problems seen by customers. Most customers do not bother to comment they just go elsewhere. We take our time to tell you and again you prove that you just don't get it !!!!! So with that said the only good that will come of this is that I hope I can WARN people so they don't have to experience the UNPROFESSIONAL behavior at Dover Honda. More
NEVER GO TO DOVER HONDA!!! EVER!!! My experience here was completely ridiculous. After inquiring about a used car that they had in stock online, getting confirmation that it was available and then filling ou completely ridiculous. After inquiring about a used car that they had in stock online, getting confirmation that it was available and then filling out my financing application, I went into the dealership and stood around for 10-15 minutes with at least 4 people passing me or standing around chatting....not one staff member took the time to even acknowledge my existence, including the sales manager, Alan, who was carrying on a conversation at the main desk on the showroom floor about his personal life. I emailed the dealership back letting them know that I had stood around and didn't see the car I wanted on the lot and told them how I left without even talking to anyone. They apologized and convinced me to comeback, telling me that they had a vehicle in stock. When I got to the dealership they "couldn't find it"?! We spent over an hour and a half with them randomly walking around pretending to look for the vehicle. As we were about to leave, they magically located the car, showed it to me and after having me fill out paperwork (including another financing app), told me that they could not sell it to me because they didn't have the title. Rich, the salesman that we were working with was awful, trying to sell me on options that you'd expect in any vehicle. In addition, they took the keys on my trade and held them hostage at the customer service desk for over an hour as they took my deposit. They assured me that they had another car in stock at another dealer that they had expected to arrive that afternoon and then convinced me to leave a $500 deposit on the "identical" vehicle that "would be in stock next day". Day after day after day they told me the car "hadn't showed up yet, it would be here today". They never called with a status, we always had to call them. I've visited the dealership more than 5 times asking to see the car or get my $ back if they didn't have it!!! On one of the previous visits, they told me they could now sell me the car that they didn't have the title for. They "hadn't considered that option". It met my requirements so I'm not sure why it slipped their mind!Gary explained that we were only several thousand dollars apart to make the deal and that I needed to come up with more money but wouldn't tell me the price of the car or how much more they would give me for my trade. On top of that, within 4 days they increased the online price for that very car, $1000. After a WEEK's worth of back and forth I still don't have my deposit back!! I went in tonight to get my deposit and apparently the 10 people that were working didn't know how to refund my money, including the sales manager. We keep getting the run around over and over again. When I asked for my refund tonight, Alan told me that "they were looking for other cars to sell me". REALLY?!! I don't want another car!! My husband and I have both left several messages for Gary and Rich and NEVER get a call back. If they do pickup the phone, they assure me that they will call me back within the hour and I hear nothing. I'm going back tomorrow when the people who know how to work a credit card machine are back...so they can give me my money!! If they keep giving me the run around, I guess I have no choice but to call the PD??? THIS IS INSANE!!! I have never had such an awful experience at a car dealership before. More
My husband and I needed to upgrade vehicles because we will be welcoming our third child soon and our honda crv (which we love) was just not big enough for 3 kids. We decided to go with the pilot. My experience at Dover AutoWorld Honda was a nightmare. After I conducted the test drive, the general manager, bruce, started grilling me in an intimidating manner on my financial history and job status as if he was an interrogator. Then he had the audacity to tell me he wants to sell me a car today. I said I had no intention of buying a car today and planned on test driving a few other cars. Bottom line: I left and never plan on going back! More

I RECENTLY BROUGHT MY ODYSSEY IN FOR A MINOR RECALL FOR A SOFTWARE UPDATE AND WAS TREATED WITH THE FEELING THAT I WAS A FAMILY MEMBER BY NICK.THIS HAS BEEN THIS WAY SINCE I STARTED BUYING MT CARS AT DOVER AUTO WORLD.I WAS ALSO GREETED BY THE SERVICE MANAGER,NEIL KELLERHER.THE WORK WAS COMPLETED IN SHORT ORDER AND MY ODYSSEY WAS RETURNED TO ME WASHED AND VACUUMED!! I LEFT KNOWING, AS ALWAYS ,THE WORK WAS DONE CORRECTLY!!WHICH IS A GREAT FEELING. After many many phone calls from Maryann assuring me buying a car from Dover Honda would be a great experience, I decided to give them a try on the last day of the month. After test driving a CRV I dec buying a car from Dover Honda would be a great experience, I decided to give them a try on the last day of the month. After test driving a CRV I decided upon the CRV. I have owned one CRV in the past and 2 Honda Civics as well. (I would consider that to be a good Honda customer!!!) I was led to believe by Maryann that my trade would be a fair value and price would be fantastic! In addition to shopping on the last day of the month I would not be disappointed. Everyone was so friendly when I arrived and through the test drive process. Once price negotiations began things turned quickly. My salesman was rude once I told him $450.00 off of a $28,000 MSRP was so far off. I also told him I was very unhappy with my trade offer, $3000 below the book value!!! I also reminded him it was the last day of the month!!!! Once I told them we were so far off the salesman continuted to make rude comments to me. I asked for the keys to my car and left. Never will I shop with you again Dover Auto World! More
