You're immediately on the defensive and it's very rarely a fun time, in my experience. Therefore, I was incredibly surprised and happy to meet Paula. She is not your typical salesperson and others should take note. My daughter was considering purchasing her first new car, which in itself is a big and stressful decision. We found ourselves at Dover Honda and Paula was first on the scene to help. Honestly, she broke the mold. Not only was she knowledgable, but she was honest, friendly and incredibly helpful and NOT aggressive in the least. I felt like we bought a car from a friend who guided us in the right direction rather than a stranger, who had a quota to meet. Thank you Paula for being so helpful and kind! Paula was patient, friendly, had so much energy and not to mentioned kept my husband engaged by talking sports. We have had a wonderful experience with Dover Honda - specifically with Paula. Much Improved I have had trouble in the past with the service department of Dover Honda wherein they did not return calls to set an appointment; never answered thei I have had trouble in the past with the service department of Dover Honda wherein they did not return calls to set an appointment; never answered their phones to set an appointment and I had to have my salesman intervene to make contact on 2 separate occasions. Having had a serious discussion with the service manager "Nick" and asked to return to their store for service, I relented and did return where I was treated well, with respect , and found them displaying a much different attitude, one devoid of arrogance, and instilling in the customer a sense of true caring, for both the customer, and, the vehicle. Prior to this visit, if I was asked where I bought my SUV and if I was happy with it, I would tell them to visit the Sales dept., and ask for either Rick Stern, my salesman, or his manager, Bruce Sellars and they would be very happy with their purchase. I would also tell them to stay away from the service dept. But no longer. I give not only the Sales department, once again, the highest rating possible, but now also, through the efforts of both " Nick", our Honda Service Mgr, and James, our Honda Service Advisor, I give a well earned THANK YOU, and high ratings for displaying those traits so necessary in achieving customer loyalty, by making my wife and I feel both welcomed and at ease during our visit. Kudos to all of you. More
