Easy and unstressful auto purchase I was ready to move on from a 10 year old Subaru, and after looking for a few months at replacement alternatives decided to give a used Honda Crosstou I was ready to move on from a 10 year old Subaru, and after looking for a few months at replacement alternatives decided to give a used Honda Crosstour a drive to see if it fit me. Dover Honda is near my home and they had certified pre-owned Crosstour for me to try. I emailed a "more info" request to the dealership and almost instantaneously was invited to set up a test drive. I worked most closely with sales consultant Paula Redden, who showed my wife and I the car, easily arranged an intro ride-along to demonstrate the car and it's features, and had us bring our trade-in for evaluation. We loved the car and they allowed us to take it to our mechanic for a second opinion, and he loved it, too. We then met with Marcia in finance to work on the purchase and warranty details, and Alan for service and trade-in points. The car was priced agressively, our trade in was valued appropriately, and the purchase was performed with little to no dramatics or pressure. Paula was there at every step with a great sense of humor and was very satisfaction focused. It was as close to fun as buying a car can be. We were very satisfied with experience and highly recommend Paula and the Dover Honda team. More
I Got ROOKED I was referred to this dealership by auto advisers of MVFCU back in December 2016. The auto advisor guy led me up there from Amesbury, Ma. I was told I was referred to this dealership by auto advisers of MVFCU back in December 2016. The auto advisor guy led me up there from Amesbury, Ma. I was told the car was Ruby red in color. We get up there, and I'm told the car ISN'T available to see as it was at the Ford dealership down the road for recall work!. The day I went up there, I wasn't feeling 100% good, but I went there anyways as the car looked great on their web site. To make this long story short, I got rooked on this deal. The car's body needs $2000 in body repairs done, plus I never got the 2nd smart key that it came with, nor the keyless access code, nor did I get any signed paperwork the day I signed for it. Everything was rushed the day I went there. I expected the advisor guy to help me out on this car, and he was so fast paced, he screwed me over big time. The guy I dealt with at this place who was a great experience was the Fiance guy, Bill Malsury. I've already issued a complaint to the MCFCU about the auto advisor and now issuing this bad review on the dealership. I'm on a retirement fixed income, so I can't afford a law suit against them. More
Horrible Experience I recently bought a CR-V from Josh and Dover Honda. Worst experience I have ever had. Despite working thru Auto Advisor in advance (Kevin with them I recently bought a CR-V from Josh and Dover Honda. Worst experience I have ever had. Despite working thru Auto Advisor in advance (Kevin with them is terrible too) they did not have either of my top 2 choices of color. Josh did not even look thru his system to see if the color I wanted was available. I caved and picked the color he had warming up when I got there. I screwed that up. However it took several days to get them to register my car and after I called Josh (I had left him voicemail and got no response), because I was getting 2 different stories as to why it was not being done. Josh's tone got very nasty and condescending and he accused me of yelling at him. I was absolutely not Yelling at him but I was somewhat perturbed.. He persisted in his diatribe and barely let me speak so I ended the Conversation. Also the car's remote start has not worked since I got it and, despite emails to Josh's boss and Honda, No one knows when the mysterious software issue will be fixed. They also stuck their logo on the back without asking. I emailed the General manager, Bryan Laskin and that was not great either. I told him I was dissatisfied with the car based on the color and aforementioned issues. I also let him know I wanted to cancel my extended warranty, since I cannot anticipate keeping this car as long as I normally do (8-10 years). He responded very quickly. we emailed back and forth several times in about 4 hours. He, of course, defended his salesman, and said that our encounter went so bad because I was mad and Josh was trying to calm me down. That is NOT true either. He told me he could look into a "deal" that would get me into the color I wanted. He did not offer to make this right, just make another "Deal". I told Mr. Laskin could not afford to buy another car, which would inevitably raise my payment. I also asked him to check on the remote starter and logo removal and to let me know where I should send my letter removing the extended warranty., That was 2 days ago and Mr. Laskin has not responded to this email. He was great at getting back to me about a possible 2nd sale but has no interest in helping me resolve any lingering issues. I have been dealing with the Auto Advisors about my bad advisor and I have called and written Honda about this terrible experience. In a perfect world Mr.Laskin would have made an attempt to make me happy and resolve my many issues but that is not his goal. I am stuck with a car thats a color I hate and I have no idea when/if my service issues will be resolved. Please learn from my mistakes and avoid this dealership at all costs and if you choose to do business with them at the very least avoid Josh Hersy. And do not let them railroad you into something you do not want. Thank you! More

Paula was was great along with her dog Charley. Upbeat fun and the most enjoyable car experience I've had. We buy Hondas and have utilized other dealerships in the past however that has changed going forward. This made my daughters first car even more enjoyable. We will be back. More
