We are writing to commend the superb, excellent service we received from Jeremiah Bruner upon our unexpected visit to Douglas Jeep on Saturday afterno We are writing to commend the superb, excellent service we received from Jeremiah Bruner upon our unexpected visit to Douglas Jeep on Saturday afternoon, May 20, 2017. During a day trip to Venice Beach, we experienced an almost complete loss of power due to a suddenly dead battery accompanied by the vehicle's computer "loss of mind" in our 2015 Jeep Cherokee. Were lucky enough to get the car started at the beach, but living 45 minutes south in Punta Gorda it was a quick scramble to try and find a dealership. We discovered Douglas Jeep and Jeremiah immediately & pleasantly addressed our dilemma. He got our vehicle into the service bay, had everything checked out and after just less than an hour wait, found out that our battery was still under warranty. They replaced the battery, reset the computer system and we were happily on our way home, thanks to Jeremiah!! His helpfulness and wonderful demeanor are to be commended - thank you Jeremiah. Today they replaced the passenger air bag on my 2008 Dodge Dakota which was on recall Since the truck has a lifetime warranty on engine transmission and rear end to the original owner I will probably keep it another few years. Service and repair of 2015 Jeep Trailblazer I brought in my second Jeep that I bought at Douglas Jeep, a 2015 Jeep Trailblazer. Still being under warranty, my battery died and when jumped did no I brought in my second Jeep that I bought at Douglas Jeep, a 2015 Jeep Trailblazer. Still being under warranty, my battery died and when jumped did not hold a charge. I called after 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday and left a detailed message, as of Wednesday morning at 9:30 I still had not been contacted. So I call again and am directed to Service where I was assisted by Tim Racco. I wish he could be cloned...what a GREAT experience I had. He remembered my name and the issue with my Jeep when I arrived, immediately entered all the info in the computer, and then issued a work order re my battery, a recall item, and several updates. Within ten minutes I was on my way, in a loaner car (of which I had a very young man help me with that was GREAT too!). Tim called at the end of the day that my Jeep was ready, and as I did not arrive to pick up until approximately 10:00 the next morning, he called again just to make sure I had gotten the message and that I was ok. Well.....WOW! I am taking the time to do this survey because Tim deserves to be recognized and congratulated.... and personally thanked by me. I do hope this gets back to him, as a sincere token of my appreciation. Service after a sale is paramount to keeping customers....looking likely I will be looking for a third Jeep in the years to come.... I would like to give a shout out to Craig Nereim too, he will definitely be the man I contact when I am ready. Elaine Miller More
