I recently went to Doug's Lynnwood Hyundai to shop for a new car. I wasn't that familiar with all the models so I went in without a lot of information. After looking online at several Hyundai dealers for the car I wanted, the 2013 Veloster I decided to go with Doug's. They are not the closest dealer to me but after speaking with someone on the phone I fig car I wanted, the 2013 Veloster I decided to go with Doug's. They are not the closest dealer to me but after speaking with someone on the phone I figured this was the dealer for me. I went in knowing what I wanted and had secured my own financing. There was never any pressure to upgrade to another fancier model or to add features that I did not feel I needed. After selecting the car I was asked to fill out paperwork to match what my finance company already had. Low and behold the sales manager was able to secure a new loan with the same finance company saving me 1.3 percent interest rate. Now that is what I call service. Paperwork was rather fast and the run through of the car was smooth. I would highly recommend Doug's for anyone wanting a great deal with no pressure. More
I was looking for a very specific model (Hyundai Genesis I was looking for a very specific model (Hyundai Genesis 3.8) that had the packages (Grand Touring / Track) in a standard transmission. Being from O I was looking for a very specific model (Hyundai Genesis 3.8) that had the packages (Grand Touring / Track) in a standard transmission. Being from Oregon no dealers had this vehicle used with low miles. I found Doug's had the exact car I wanted via auto trader. So I gave them a call and talked with Vila. She was very helpful and checked to see if they still had that vehicle on the lot which they did. I negotiated a price on it in which Vila again was very helpful. I drove the four hours the next day to go and look at the car. It was everything she described to me over the phone. No high pressure sales tactics were used and she made me feel very comfortable, I was very surprised she had the car detailed the previous day with a nice note in the windshield stating it was "SOLD" with my name on it. I got through the paper work very quickly and on my way back down to Oregon with my car. A couple of days later Vila followed up with me and found the extra key fob for my car and informed me it was being mailed out that day. Overall the experience was great, and Vila followed through every step of the way. The only complaint I have is that the did not except my first offer =) More
We bought an extended warranty and was told it was good everywhere Hyundai was services. Upon receipt of the paperwork after a period of time trying to get it, it states that all service work must be comp everywhere Hyundai was services. Upon receipt of the paperwork after a period of time trying to get it, it states that all service work must be completed at Dougs, which is 60 miles from our house. We never would have bought the the extended warranty let alone the car from a Dealer so far from us if they had been straight forward with us. Then, there was a problem with the electrical connections for the tow package we bought. It turned out they had it installed aftermarket and we did not know this. Apparently the warranty does not cover work installed by the dealer before we accepted delivery of the car. I didn't find this out until I called the service department, who couldn't tell me anything and told me to call sales. Of course sales couldnt help and sent me to the service department Lots of wasted time for no resolution. More
I ve never had a worse customer service experience in my life. I saw a vehicle listed on eBay and committed to purchasing the used vehicle from these folks at their asking price, got the run around from the life. I saw a vehicle listed on eBay and committed to purchasing the used vehicle from these folks at their asking price, got the run around from the salesman for a 24 hour period and then was told I could purchase the vehicle for 10k more than what they were originally asking. Spoke to the Sales Manager Kue Yoo who just blew me off then sent an e-mail to the Store Manage Young Lee and received no response. I ve had some bad car buying experiences and bad customer service experiences but this takes the cake. Stay away from these guys, horrible customer service and only interested in making a buck. So bad I will be filing a complaint with the BBB as well. Buyer beware! More

I located an air conditioning 'Kit' online offered by www.hyundaipartspeople.com, serviced via Doug's Hyundai, Lynnwood, WA, for 2009 Hyundai Accent. It was advertised as reduced from $1266.71 to the SALE price of $981.70. After I placed my order, however, I received an email saying, ooopppsss . . . error in parts number & pricing! From the original sale price of $981.70, the a/c kit would now cost $1244.86 if I still wanted it. Please note this is even HIGHER than the original Web site, non sale, cost. If you choose to do business with Doug's Hyundai after this warning, do check and double check EVERYTHING. More
I purchased a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix from Doug's. Got a great deal thousands below KBB and NADA. Love the car, then after less than 500 miles, the engine light comes on, the transmission starts to shift wi great deal thousands below KBB and NADA. Love the car, then after less than 500 miles, the engine light comes on, the transmission starts to shift with a bang, very hard, and the heater stops working. I bought the car "AS IS NO WARANTY". I call the used car sales manager, "Tiger" Michael Kim and the salesman Michael Rae, and tell Them what is happening. They got the car into their service dept. the same day had it repaired the next day and gave me a service loaner while they repaired it. Now get this NO CHARGE it didn't cost me a cent. That needs to be repeated NO CHARGE!!!!! Now for the real kicker, it was nothing wrong with the car when it left their lot that they fixed. I live in the country and a mouse had crawled into the engine compartment and chewed threw some wiring which caused all the problems. If you want a dealer that more than stands behind what they sell then this is your dealer. I have never recomended a dealer before and I don't give out my approval lightly, but I am VERY IMPRESSED!!!!!! THANK YOU TO ALL!!! I will see you when I get ready to buy my next vehicle. Deciding to purchase a new car and settling on the price was quick. I drove the car, I liked it, and I negotiated the price close to invoice. But then I decided to finance it. I don't know what about that process had to take over 3 hours--but waiting for the Finance company to process the paperwork for an hour and a half, filling out documents *twice*, and waiting for the single manager in the entire dealership to finish dealing the the other customer was inexcusable. If this wasn't the only dealership in Washington that had the car that I wanted in stock, I would have walked out and gone somewhere else. More
