Sold me gap coverage that didn't pay! Cost me $399 Purchased a 2016 elantra for my son that was sadly totalled in a accident in February. In less than a week we had a check from progressive for the loa Purchased a 2016 elantra for my son that was sadly totalled in a accident in February. In less than a week we had a check from progressive for the loan, I paid the difference to payoff the car so my son could shop for a new car. I followed all the instructions to file my claim on the gap insurance purchased from Doug's hyundai for $399. I sent the documents via ups and am still waiting on the gap company. I have emailed with no replies, called and gotten excuses like it takes 1 week to upload information into system, also was told it takes 2-20 working days to process claims (I suppose after the uploading?) Anyway- 6 weeks nothing! Total rip off. In our case the gap between the progressive check and loan balance was less than $300 but if it was a lot this would be a terrible situation. It's upsetting enough to be in a accident then to think you have coverage and they won't pay is just really wrong. I feel like getting Jesse Jones from king 5 news! Doug's should give me back the money I paid! More

I love my new car from Doug's Hyundai! I brought my son into the dealership to buy his own car, and by the time I left I had traded in my 2012 Tuscon for a new Sonata for me. I see people have collect my all documents info and processed in system then they come up with price offer. This is completely reverse way of sales. very disappointed. More
