Only one day without a car, and ready to go another 5000 to 7500 miles! Very impressed this time with Joe Henrigillis and his team, and their accommodating my additional request. Thank-you! More
Told to rent a car at my own expense for faulty seat belt. When I questioned why and that it was the most important safety feature and required by law to use the service guy said "so" you'll have to wai belt. When I questioned why and that it was the most important safety feature and required by law to use the service guy said "so" you'll have to wait 4 days for a part or rent a car. This was for a Kia Sorento that was less than a year old and under warranty! Worst service ever and to give attitude when the faulty part was as important as a seatbelt is inexcusable!!!!! I will never ever recommend this place and will be placing similar reviews about Dorsch everywhere I can!!!! More
My 2012 Kia was taken in for a failed instrument cluster. It was promised in about a week and completed, BUT: I asked that an oil change and tire rotation be done while it was there, and was told all work It was promised in about a week and completed, BUT: I asked that an oil change and tire rotation be done while it was there, and was told all work was complete the day prior to pickup. After paying for the servicing and returning home, I noted that the multi-point inspection report card had "NO" written next to the tire rotation. Upon looking at my receipt, it stated on the last page "No tool for locking lug nuts". I called and spoke with Shane Smith, the person that had assured me all was done. He spoke with the technician, who stated that the tool was not in my vehicle (the service department doesn't have tools?) Shane called me back to explain this, and as instructed, I checked in the tire kit area of my car, and promptly found that tool. He then offered to let me chose a trip back for the rotation (an 80 mile round trip) or refund for the tire rotation. As they didn't do the rotation in the week they had the vehicle (and tool), and considering the waste of time and fuel to reschedule, drive there, have the work done and return, I requested the refund. A check for $ 17.88 was received several days later. Checking with closer dealer, I was told a tire rotation was $ 19.99. Now additional time must be wasted in scheduling the incomplete work, driving, waiting for the rotation to be done, and I will have to pay additionally. The instrument cluster does seem to working appropriately now, so that's great. Assuming the oil change was really done, that's great. The tire rotation not done - very bad. Overall experience - frustrating on the tire rotation part. Had all been done, the rating would have been great overall. More
service tech did things not on repair order. pulled dash cover back & hid wires for PORTABLE satellite radio.Hidden wires including those needed to run radio such as auxilary line and antenna end. When ques cover back & hid wires for PORTABLE satellite radio.Hidden wires including those needed to run radio such as auxilary line and antenna end. When questioned by Pete Dorsch it was denied by tech. This left me to go to another body shop to find out how to remove dash panel & retreive wires. Pete Dorsch stood behind his tech and was not even willing to look at the situation since he was told by the tech he didn't do it. All I know is it was not that way when it was brought in. The lack of willingness to at least look at the situation proves to me that the $1000.00 I spent there tyhat day was Pete Dorsch's bottom line. Not really customer satisfaction. More
John was very friendly and helpful. He explained what was done and why. Even replaced a lug nut that was missing at no charge which they may or may not have tightened at the last service. was done and why. I received great service and it was very promt. John Collins said everything was in good shape but also to have the brakes checked next in as there is some more wear on one. Collins said everything was in good shape but also to have the brakes checked next in as there is some more wear on one. More
Everyone at this dealership is friendly, knowledgable and anxious to please the customer. The appointment for service on my vehicle was done at the pre-scheduled time. The oil change, tire rotation and other routine maintenace work took about one hour to complete. The dealership was sparking clean, inclueding the customer lounge and the restrooms. The whole experience started about 2 hours before I ever arrived at Dorsch. I called around noon to see if by some chance they might have a spot open for an oil change that same day. Turns out they did an arrived at Dorsch. I called around noon to see if by some chance they might have a spot open for an oil change that same day. Turns out they did and we agreed on a time. As i pulled up to my appointment I was curious to see how Dorsch would compare to other places we've been to before including a family favorite for almost 30 years. I really liked the drive-in process. Even though it was about 85 and sunny out, I could see how this would be fantastic in normal Wisconsin weather. The first thing I noticed was that even though I had only driven about 50 ft. from the garage doors to the computer desks I already had 4 people say hi, smile and waive. Maybe they thought I was someone else??? I was greeted by a service consultant named John Collins. After very politley asking about my day he noticed that there was more then just an oil change I needed. I was due for a tire rotation. One of the benefits of going to the same dealership I bought the car from plus the car is a Ford certified pre-owned, the records are always going to well maintained which mean Dorsch can keep track of all the sched. Maint. and I dont have too. John explained speciffically what was going to be done (in easy to understand non-mechanic language) and then started completly wrapping up the front seat and steering wheel. Nice touch. John pointed me to the lounge with free drinks and I watched a little judge judy and ate some popcorn. It seemed like only about 10 minutes but John came into the room and said the car was done. Walked to the service desk and paid my bill, John went over everything that was done, what was looked at, the condition of everything and so on.. I grabbed the keys and walked out.. Just to find out the car was washed too!! Nice jobs guys.. . . . already told about 9 people i work with about my trip to Dorsch, hope u see some extra business More
