Transmission Repair on Ford Focus Since moving to the Green Bay area, I have always taken my car to Dorsch. I like that it is a dealership, so I know that they are doing a good job whe Since moving to the Green Bay area, I have always taken my car to Dorsch. I like that it is a dealership, so I know that they are doing a good job when I bring my car in for repairs or oil changes. Since my car is newer I had hoped to not have any problems with it, but over the past 7 months I have had a lot of issues with the transmission. I had the car in for oil changes and had asked that the car get looked over because it was shuttering a lot when I would accelerate. I had everything reset a couple of times, but after about a month it would start happening again. I had been getting very frustrated that I was having all of the issues with the Ford Focus. Doug Ertman worked with me through all of the repairs and explained thoroughly what was wrong with the car and what they were going to do with it. He made sure that I was completely satisfied and that the car was working the way it should! When I had to have a repair that required parts to be ordered, he got those ordered and contacted me in a very timely manner to let me know I could set up an appointment to bring the car in. I was very pleased with the customer service that Doug provided and I would recommend Dorsch to anyone! More
dishonest coupons I went there with a $39.95 coupon for an Oil change for my new KIA that I had bought from them 3 months before. Well after the service the bill came I went there with a $39.95 coupon for an Oil change for my new KIA that I had bought from them 3 months before. Well after the service the bill came back $47, I refused to pay this and they had no answer why it was this cost. I asked to speak to a manager, but none would come out to speak to me. Instead this nice cashier was stuck listening to my complaints and being the go between the manager and me. It was like the Wizard of Oz. The manager where behind the curtain talking through this nice lady. I refused to pay, they came back and said $43 dollars as they replaced my oil plug? this is a brand new car only 5000 miles? they final gave in, but without ever explaining the up charge I paid $41.95 and left frustrated. The most interesting man in the world will not have service done at this place or buy any new car from this place, If they are going to over charge you on an oil change think what they will do on a new or used car purchase. More
We didn't want to trade cars for a fixable problem. After multiple attempts to get a grinding noise resolved on our left front wheel (with another dealer) we drove an extra hour to get to Dorsch. They LISTENED CAREFULLY to our history with the car (which we had originally purchased from them,) took the car into the garage to look at it and within a half hour had a diagnosis. They didn't have the parts on site (1½ hours away) and we were prepared to make another appointment when DOUG ERTMAN came back and said "his tech" said he could get it done in time for our drop-dead time to leave for another activity. Somehow they got the parts, the work was done and we were on the road 2 hours later - almost 2 hours BEFORE our drop-dead time. Best of all, no more noise that my husband was sure could be fixed AND we have a car that we are in love with again. More

Went home and filled everything then called and asked if these were things they top off in a Full Service Oil Change. Was told they should have, then that was it, no sorry, no can we make it up to you somehow, that was it. Wouldn't recommend!!!! You get what you pay for, which isn't much. More

We had a very sick-sounding Expedition towed in late that morning. John assured me he would have it looked at ASAP, but it likely wouldn't be finished until Monday. He made several calls to find us a rental car. The nearest he could find available was at the airport, so he arranged for a fine young man to deliver us there. He made sure we were taken care of before leaving. Imagine my surprise when he called later that day to say we were good to go. He had left work for the day before we returned, so I didn't get the chance to thank him personally. We completed our vacation on-time and additional incident-free. He asked how we were doing and offered us a beverage while we were waiting for our car to be finished. We began talking about kias and why we loved them so much. Chad asked us what we liked about our vehicle as well as what we didn't like. Before long he sparked my interest in taking a look at a new optima ex. Chad wasn't just asking questions he was listening to our needs and concerns. Then he showed us the car we had always wanted. At this point we decided to go for a test drive. Chad started out by going over the car in full detail catering to our concerns and explained many aspects and safety features no 1 had ever told us about. After he went over the car before we even drove it we were sold. We are definitely Dorsch customers for life and highly recommend if your heading there ask for Chad he went beyond our expectations. On a scale of 1-10 I give him a 20 for his extreme energy and passion to help. More
Terrible experience The service department at Dorsch is HORRIBLE. This past Thursday we had problems with our vehicle and turned to Dorsch Ford for the repair. We own a The service department at Dorsch is HORRIBLE. This past Thursday we had problems with our vehicle and turned to Dorsch Ford for the repair. We own a Mercury Cougar and were having trouble with the transmission which is covered under warranty, and since Dorsch was a Mercury dealer it seemed like the right place to go. We called Dorsch’s Service Department and were told they could not look at it right away, so they had us make an appointment for the following Monday to have them look at the transmission and fix the problem. We are parents of an infant and only have ONE vehicle so going without a car is a difficult situation and we really needed the work done quickly. We dropped it off and checked in with Dave in the Service Department on Monday morning shortly after 8:00 so they would have a full day to get it fixed. After giving us some flak for bringing it there for the warranty work when it was purchased somewhere else, he told us they would have technician look at it and give us a call to let us know what work needed to be done. He also said IF they were not able to fix it that day we would be able to get a free loaner as part of our warranty. SEVEN hours later we still had not gotten a call – so we called THEM back to check on the status, only to be told that they had taken it for a drive and confirmed that it was a transmission problem (which we had already told them). He then said that they had not had a chance to look into the problem further because they had a lot of people come in that day with transmission problems. EXCUSE ME – but I had an appointment which you made ME wait days to get it in your shop for - so my car should have been a priority! When we demanded to have our car back for your lack of timely work and POOR customer service – we were made to pay $100 for the service department to have NOT DONE what they had promised to do. WE will NEVER buy a car here or have our vehicles serviced here again. It is amazing you can stay in business with such poor customer service. More
