Doral Lincolnmy absolute last resort for getting a used vehicle in the country. Unfortunately used cars in the state of Florida are not covered by the lemon law. I truly cannot describe accuratly the past 11 months of my I have spent with a used vehicle from Doral Lincoln I like other on satisfied customers drove more than an hour to go see a vehicle that looked good from pictures online at was priced competitively. In my case it was priced competitively but after taxes fees, dealer fees and other unnecessary costs, a $14,000 advertised car came out to almost $24,000 with financing and average credit. That's not the worst part, this car has more problems than any car I've had in over 10 years of driving in South Florida as a 2012 vehicle. I bought it with 49,000 miles from the dealership and it died the same week, I returned to the dealer they fix the problem, they claimed that there was no problem, and they charged me for the car rental. 30000 miles later around 75,000 miles, I returned with knocking in the engine only to find out that the cars transmission was dead.A $5,000 repair, that took 25 days. 25 DAYS. Independent estimates a it takes up max 3 to 5 days. It took more than 10 days for them to issue a rental car and I had to take the train and ubers everyday out of pocket. Every sufficient dealership I know that has a service department, offers rental cars the same day of drop off. After 25 days of waiting for my car to be returned and crossing my fingers for it to be in any better shape than it has been in 11 months. The car is returned to me with a supposed new (oxidized looking) transmission, and to put the icing on the cake, it has a sound like there are sprinkler heads that have installed in place of spark plugs. These are things you would only hear in a fictional novel or television, that happen right there Doral, Florida everyday. The poor sales people and staff for trying to make a decent living but there are definitely strings missing all over the place.. Don't buy the bogus reviews we're talking worst case scenario by far my friends. It is not a terrible situation on the individual basis, it is problems at the Doral Branch in general. I have no personal ill felt feelings with any individual at the branch, their management nor staff. But I will never return there again and I will recommend everyone I know elsewhere for all things related to motor vehicles. I requested my service records and they only gave me a receipt. I don't know what happened during the 25 days that my car was in captivity but I do know that it was driven 48 miles under the claim of "Test Drives". If I could rate the quality of work I would give a negative two. It really does make me sad that a year of my life was spent dealing with problem after problem after problem with the used vehicle I purchased from them. DO NOT SHOP OR BUY HERE!!!!!! I cannot stress this enough! I have had my car for a little over a month now and I am STILL dealing with this dealership! I've been contacting them by email and phone for literally a month. Every time someone assures me they will contact me back in 10 mins they either never do or 6+ hrs later. Usually they just never contact back and then I have to take time out of my work day to contact them AGAIN! My emails go completely unanswered. I was told that there was a backup camera on the car I was purchasing which was in FL and I am in TX so I never saw the car in person until it was delivered. There was no back up camera. They refuse to make it right, because the guy that told me that no longer works there. They could refund me some money that it will cost for the back up camera or reimburse me since I am now having to come out of pocket, but they refuse. They clearly do not care about their customers or their company name. The guy who called me and claims to be the GM is literally no help on this matter he told me there is nothing him or anyone else in the company can do for me, in other words I am just screwed and have to come out of pocket. You would think after spending nearly 34,000 on a car from them they would be willing to do anything to make things right. I am kicking myself and regretting not looking into them and the reviews before this purchase. More
