The service dept. are very professional and want you to leave satisfied with completion of their work on your car. When I had heart surgery our sales rep. Allan called my husband to see how I got along. He also called while I was in the nursing home and 6 months later after I got home. To this day, 2 years later Allan asks about me each time our car is serviced. A wonderful man and the office staff are very pleasant and efficient!!!!! More

I dropped my vehicle off at Donleys to see if they could locate and repair minute vibration and humming in what appeared to be the rear end of vehicle. I personally changed all drive line u-joints and carri locate and repair minute vibration and humming in what appeared to be the rear end of vehicle. I personally changed all drive line u-joints and carrier bearing and still could not solve problem and I made it clear to Donley what I had done to assist with process of elimination in hopes of solving this mystery. I even indicated that the rear pinion area was warm after driving @ 40 miles to work just to offer another suggestion of where to look for answers. I dropped vehicle off on a Friday and they called me a couple days later and said that the pinion bearing was making noise and $1,400.00 would fix the problem. I was astonished to discover that my efforts to assist with finding the noise was successful however the $1,400.00 estimate stung my wallet. They said they had to order the parts and could take a week to complete. Friday my daughter picked up truck for me and brought home whereas I took for a ride excited to hopefully not hear the noise and vibration only to be saddened to find that the bearing overhaul did NOT fix my problem. I immediately called Donleys and asked them to save the parts and I would be up to talk with them. I met with them only to find that manager did not show for meeting and the mechanic and myself took for a ride to hear the continued noise and vibration where I suggested to mechanic not to drive on hilly roads for flat interstate roads were better to hear and feel the vibration. He chose to stay on hilly, stop and go traffic which was an effort in futility. After two more meetings and dropping vehicle off to no avail I finally met with manager requesting Donleys offer some sort of reimbursement since the bearings never needed replaced! This was substantiated when they saved the removed parts and gave back to me where after further review the bearings and races showed zero signs of wear whatsoever! I even had another ASE certified mechanic inspect parts and he too confirmed that the parts never should have been replaced and that Donley mechanic should have stopped work immediately once he seen no signs of wear on bearing and that problem definitely stemmed from another location on vehicle. BTW- Donley mechanic replaced rear clutch turning plates too that were also in near perfect condition. In the end the manager stood behind her employees swearing that replacement of bearings solved the mystery and that the current humming and vibration was due to tires. So basically they accused my vehicle of having two causes of noise. Forget the fact that the parts that they removed are in near perfect condition. What I experienced is every consumers nightmare with mechanics and that is replacing parts that do need replaced and lining their pockets with exorbitant mark up fees. Buyer beware. More
