Took 3 Ford dealers to fix an issue...and DONLEY DID IT! I have a 2019 F350. We pulled our RV from Seattle to Ohio back in late April of this year. Along the way, going through the Rockies and past, we fou I have a 2019 F350. We pulled our RV from Seattle to Ohio back in late April of this year. Along the way, going through the Rockies and past, we found ourselves in "warmer than normal weather" (80s). We also found the AC was blowing "warm air and not cool air" as it should. We stopped at a dealership along the way to see if it was something simple....like low on refrigerant. They were able to get us in and later informed us that they couldn't find anything significant, but did notice something that wasn't quite right. In order to fix it, they would have to pull the dash, etc. Since we only had about 3 days left to go, we opted to finish the trip with the intent to have a dealership in OH take a look at things. Once we arrived, I made an appointment with another dealer, who was able to get us in within a day or two. By early afternoon, they called and said the truck was ready and that they could not find anything wrong with the AC, to keep an eye on it, and let them know if there was an issue. So far, one dealer said they would need to tear apart the dash and the next one said there was nothing they could find. I searched for other Ford dealers and noticed Donley in Mt. Vernon had something like 4.8 out of 5 on reviews on "Google". That is not to say that Google is the ultimate review forum or always accurate....but we decided to give it a shot. I dropped off the truck for normal service and to have them look at the AC. When they called in the afternoon, we went and picked up the truck. Jeff filled me in on what they found or didn't find. He said they could "feel" a wee bit of an issue, but couln't locate the source. So the evac'd the entire system and refilled with refridgerant. It's been almost a week, with a couple of days with temps in the 80s....and NO issues! In fact...the air is pretty darn chilly!! So far....VERY impressed with Donley in Mt. Vernon!! More

Fine if you want to take your vehicle back multiple times. We have purchased a couple vehicles from this dealer. Sales department is good. We have had 4 different Fords we have taken there. All of the have had to go back for service where the failed to find the issue. This time, couldn’t find the issue with my wife’s Explorer A/C. A couple times before we took it in due to a steering issue. They told us it needed tires. We put tires on it. Had to take it back again because the steering was still not right. Then they had to replace the steering rack. Too, my F150 in. Told them I had a leaking tire. They rotated the tires. And, said they couldn’t find anything. Couple weeks later, I was still dealing with air loss in the tire. Then I looked at the tire. Found a inch screw sticking out of the shoulder. There was about 1” of the screw sticking out. There was no way you could miss it. I told the the truck was running rough. They said it was because I waited too long for an oil change. But, the thing just shakes when idling. Check engine light came on and went off a few weeks after that. Also, beware. They may not use Ford parts on your repairs. They did the brakes on my 15 Edge. The brakes never worked like the original. And, they were noisy. Unfortunately, the next closest Ford dealer is almost an hour away. And, the extended warranty is through Ford on my wife’s Explorer. More
