The only thing that discourages me is that I have a 20010 ford escape that I purchased at Donley's. I have 62000 miles on it. I keep purchasing an extended warranty on the vehicle. I take pretty good care of it. I have reported to service (I do not know how many times) the when you first start the vehicle up and you take off, when you speed up and the car shifts (there is a clunking noise, possible slipping). Now here is what really discourages me. Since I keep purchasing an extended warranty and I have reported the slipping/clunking when it shifts gears sometimes, that my extended warranty will expired 13 August 2020. When it expires and something goes out on the transmission or whatever makes it shift, you will not cover that even though I have been telling service about the problem. I have told them that when it does happen it is normally the first thing in the morning. I even told them to keep the car for a few days , not going to happen. The other thing is , if I purchase another extended warranty on my Ford with someone else, you will not work on it. I can't understand that. Your going to get paid for the warranty work that you do on the car. More
I did not get my Ford Pass Rewards when I bought my Ford Flex Dec 26, 2019. Was told I would get free oil changes and lubes the first year. 1st appointment i was charged. Purchase of 2020 Escape I purchased the 2020 Escape with the belief that I could continue use of Sirius Travel/Navigation as I had done on my 2013 Escape. A couple of days la I purchased the 2020 Escape with the belief that I could continue use of Sirius Travel/Navigation as I had done on my 2013 Escape. A couple of days later, I realized that the car did not have the appropriate equipment to allow this. Dave Wyatt and Matt worked for a couple of days to figure out what to do for me. Matt initially suggested purchasing a navigation tool (i.e. Garmin) for me; I suggested we "swap" the car for one that had the capability, but Matt was unable to locate an exact match to mine with navigation ability, of course). In the end, I am keeping the vehicle I purchased, and we have all learned a lesson. I want to thank Dave for making the purchase experience pleasant, he was very helpful and willing to let me tell him what I wanted on my car- it was a no pressure sale! In fact, it was delightful. No, I did not get the vehicle I wanted, but I am satisfied with what I have. Dave demonstrated how to connect my phone to the car and utilize the map system on my phone through the car. We will likely need a truck next year. I plan to shop at Donley in Ashland and I'll ask for Dave! More
