Deceptive practices, false advertising I almost bought a car at Done Deal and had to back out at the last minute because they failed to disclose the history of the car upfront. They adverti I almost bought a car at Done Deal and had to back out at the last minute because they failed to disclose the history of the car upfront. They advertised that the timing belt and water pump had been recently replaced. They failed to explain that the entire engine, turbo, and all accessory parts were replaced as well - 3 pages of parts, over $8,000 of work that the Done Deal guys said they "didn't know about". I only found out because I insisted on seeing the prior service records that documented the timing belt and water pump replacement before signing the purchase agreement. There's no way they didn't know about the engine replacement since the timing belt and water pump replacement were documented on the same service order! Someone on their team decided to advertise only the normal replacement parts and leave out the rest. Nick tried to say I was getting a good deal because it was a brand new engine, but avoided owning up to the fact that Done Deal had lied to me and conveniently not mentioned the engine replacement until I insisted on seeing the service records. They have now changed the online listing for the car to say "with 82,000 all original miles". That is a 100% lie, original miles means original engine. Don't trust these guys! More

Great experience! I brought my 19 year old son for his first used car shopping experience.
