I am so sorry for the negative service you feel you received at Don Williamson Nissan. After reviewing the repair orders and the conversation that took place between you and the service manager I feel your perception of that conversation is different than what happened. In your vehicle service history you came into the dealership on 1/25/16 for routine service where we recommended that you would soon need 4 new tires because of the tread depth on your tires. Then you came in on 3/31/16 for a low pressure check in your tire. We did find a nail in the tire and patched that tire. The nail was in the tread of the tire and not in the side wall. After inspecting the tire after Sam's removed it, it is possible that there was damage to the tire when it was being put back on the rim after we did the patch but there was no patch in the side wall of the tire just in the tread of the tire where the nail was. Even though we did not have the opportunity to do the initial inspection after your tire went flat, when you came in to the dealership with the tire that Sam's removed we offered to not only replace that one tire but to replace both rear tires at no cost to you because we wanted to make sure that you did not have any issues, like a tire pull, from only replacing one tire. We reimbursed you for the tire patch that we did on 3/31/16 and still offer to replace both of your rear tires at no cost to you. We feel like this is going over and above just replacing the one tire. We do take customer service seriously and appreciate what your husband does for our Country and hope that we have the opportunity to resolve your concern.
