Stranded on 169! My wife had her 2014 Passat in for a recall and service on Thursday morning. The car had begun stalling randomly or losing power briefly & she expressed concern to the service writer that they check fuel filter & pump as I had suggested. They gave the car a clean bill of “health”, after supposedly running diagnostics on it. That SAME AFTERNOON, it stalled again less than 3 miles from our home. I called & they said they couldn’t fit it into their schedule until Monday. The car started again, so I drove back home & switched vehicles, ready to wait out the weekend & take it in on Monday. NOW, it’s Friday, ONE DAY after she had the car in at Don Thornton, and I’m waiting for a wrecker because it is now about 4-5 miles from home and WILL NOT START!!! More

Staff appeared to have little to no experience or honesty We had a long, drawn out, unpleasant experience. We arrived with exactly what we had in mind, and they immediately tried to sell us way over our b We had a long, drawn out, unpleasant experience. We arrived with exactly what we had in mind, and they immediately tried to sell us way over our budget. The sales woman did not know details about the vehicles. Their intranet was down every time we needed to verify a spec. They were very pushy as well, and ended up selling me a vehicle that I had originally asked about, which they said they did not have. We tried to walk away multiple times, they would not give my keys back for my trade-in, therefore we could not leave. But when we were finally getting ready to walk out for the 3rd time, they brought the vehicle around that we originally asked for, just different color. I thought there weren’t any other issues, until today when I get my first oil change and realized I have the wrong filter. This is because my bill of sale has incorrect information about my vehicle, stating i have a 3.6L engine when it’s actually 2.0L. This also steered me to check the VIN and look up the MSRP. They listed the MSRP on bill of sale almost $2000 more than what was listed online when I did a VIN lookup. I will not be giving my business to this dealership again. If I decide to stay with VW I will go to Arkansas next time. More
