It was time to trade in o Any one considering purchasing a vehicle must visit Don Miller East and ask to speak directly to salesperson Rod Israeli. It was time to trade in our 2001 Subaru Forester. We called Don Miller East and the person with whom we were connected introduced himself as Rod Israeli, followed by "how may I help you". As we are in our 80's we were looking for an older model Subaru Forester. Rod not only was very knowledgeable but clearly and respectfully understood our request. The good news was that he had a one owner 2008 Subaru Forester on the lot, would we be interested in seeing it. We live 72 miles northwest of Madison and asked if he could possible take the car to the dealership on the west side as it was closer. Yes, he would and set up an appointment for that same day. He also gave us his personal cellphone number to call if necessary. Rod was there to greet us and the vehicle he presented was exactly what we were looking for. Our son, who accompanied us, was encouraged to look under the hood and crawl under the car. Rod answered all questions to our satisfaction and understanding. We took the car for the test drive with me (85 yr old female) at the wheel. Rod very gently and precisely guided me as I maneuvered the busy streets of Madison. "at the next stoplight take a left" or "take a right at the next stoplight. You may turn on a red light if there is no car coming". Again he asked if we had any questions or concerns. He also asked how the car "felt". We were totally satisfied with the condition of the car and the explained warranty provided. We were allowed "privacy space" and time to personally discuss what to do, and decided to purchase it immediately. Unfortuneatly we did not have the title of our car with us but Rod explained that all the financial and legal paperwork necessary to confirm ownership could be done that day. The sale had to be processed at the east location but were able to follow Rod with no difficulty. As our car was being test driven and examined, Rod offered us and our son a choice of liquid beverages while we waited. At all times the questions that Tom had were addressed very respectfully. Rod explained that with a small deposit they would hold the car until we returned with the title. Meanwhile other personnel introduced themselves (John M) and visited with us. After necessary paperwork and financial arrangements were completed, an appointment was made with Jason Syens for a time convenient for us to bring the title and make the payment. It was explained that the new title would be mailed to us. Friday the thirteenth was our lucky day. Rod again was there to greet us; we finalized the purchase, license plates were transferred, all personal belongings were put in our 'new' car. More questions and answers were addressed, and before we left the lot Rod told us to enjoy the car and to call him personally if necessary. We could not have been treated more respectfully and honestly; the vehicle is in better condition that we had dreamed of; and it loves its new home in our garage. Thank you Rod Israeli. Sales and service staff listen to what I want and never"pressure" for extraneous or unnecessary sales. If and when advice is requested, it is always most professional and in keeping with my request. Sales and service staff are knowledgeable, with years of experience. The local ownership of this dealership is a definite plus and I plan to continue purchasing vehicles from the Don Miller Group! The technology and changes to this vehicle are unbelievably massive since then and I am looking forward to learning all of the new whistles & bells on my 2017. Rod Israeli was very helpful in answering all of our questions, taking us for a test drive in both the Forrester & Outback before we made a final decision on our purchase. He is very knowledgeable on Subaru, the options and how each of them work. Rod Israeli also was accommodating in my request to sync my phone when we picked up our new vehicle and went thru the other features my new vehicle has to offer. More

Rod Israeli was great to work with, knows his vehicles very well and was a pleasure to work with. We have not had any experience with their service shop yet. More

He showed me what all the buttons do and helped me set up Bluetooth before I left and has been available to answer questions. I would definitely recommend! More
