I purchased a certified Toyota Yaris from this dealer and since I live near-by (about 5-10 miles) I usually get my service done here. On September 21, 2012 while practicing parallel parking, I found my steering wheel getting stiff at lower speeds after minutes of continuous parallel parking trials. At times, it was so stiff that I had to put all my energy to get the car out of parallel parking spot and then after driving straight at slightly higher speed, steering wheel used act normal. This happened quite a few times, so I took the car to this place on Saturday September 22, 2012. The service rep told me that they don’t have technicians on that day, so they can check only on Monday and asked me to either leave the vehicle there or come back on Monday. I asked him, as my work place is about 35 miles away and since I leave early in the morning and return late in the evening, I wanted to know if they can provide me the replacement car as they mentioned during purchase of certified car. He said, they don’t provide any replacement car even if I had purchased a new car from them and even after arguing with the Sales manager, the best they said they could do was to let me rent a car with their employee rate from “Toyota-Rent-A-Car” location. Finally, since one my friend offered to give a ride to work, I told them I will leave my vehicle and would like a call from Service Manager Chad on Monday (he was not available on Saturday). The service rep said that he will leave a note to the manager to call me with the updates on vehicle. I did not receive any call from him as I waited and then I called him around 10:30 AM to get an update, no answer or response to my message. Finally, I got a call from Johnny around 12PM and mentioned to me that they could not find any problem and could to duplicate the issue and asked me to drive with the technician to determine the issues. I said, since I am at work, I can get off at only after 5 and with rush hour traffic and all I would not be able to reach the location until an hour later. He told me that the technicians who work from morning will leave by 5PM, but will have other set of technicians after 5 PM until 8PM and they can ride with me. I asked him couple of times to make sure if they will be able to diagnose the problem if they ride the car with me. He said yes. I left work early and then went to dealer ship around 5:40 PM and have a drive with the technician. I was told by then available service reps, that Johnny has left for the day and so does the technicians. They all left around 5PM. I explained to him about the conversation I had with Johnny and I was told differently on phone. When Johnny was contacted, he told the sales rep entirely different story about the conversation. I got pissed off and told the service rep that I will never come back to that location ever. This was not the only time, they have behaved unprofessionally and neither cared about the customers. I had been to this dealer a week early to get the TPMS warning reset, as TPMS light came on couple of days after the oil change from this dealer. When I reached the location around 5:10 PM on Saturday, the service rep told me that all the technicians have left for the day and cannot reset it and asked me to go somewhere else to get air for my car tires. I was left speechless as he could have just taken my car to the back and filled the air, if he was any good service rep. I have decided to never go to either one of their locations in Houston/Katy. I dropped my car at this location at 8am for checking brake, oil change and passenger seat wasn't secure. He said I have to left my car there for all day. But John Fedigan has never call me since 8am until 2:30pm to updated what is going on and how's it done so far. I called and left few messages, he never call back until 3:30. He said on the phone that "the oil change is done, now a mechanic guy check a brake." I asked when is would be done to pick up my car. He said "I don't know". Then 5pm, he called and said "Brake is checked, everything OK. Seat is done. You can pick up your car now" I came at 6pm to pick up my car, John told me that oil change don't need it until 10K miles. When I dropped my car, he checked the mileage but didn't say any word at all about this. Brake wasn't check either because brand new car. Seat didn't touch because defected from manufactory, they couldn't do anything. Why Johnny said on the phone everything is done, everything is checked and OK? How dare he lies so easy to the customer like that? How the Don McGill Toyota in Katy trained their employees treated the customer? I am very displease this dealer. They also cheated the Toyota's main office. How? They billed the Toyota my oil change, part replace and maintenance but didn't touch my car at all. I told them give me another statement written that they didn't change oil for my car, didn't check brake, didn't do anything from check-in at 8am to 6pm on April 3rd, 2012. More
Buyer Beware!!! I bought a 2010 camry with 19,000 miles on it 8 months ago, and I have had to take it in 3 times. The first time was an oil change, second a tire rotation and of course wanting to take care on it 8 months ago, and I have had to take it in 3 times. The first time was an oil change, second a tire rotation and of course wanting to take care of my vehicle I didnt mind but the last time I took it in last week for a $40 oil change, I ending up paying $380!!!!!!!! I bought a camry because I heard they last forever, well I'm sure they do if you have to continuously put money into them. I am a single mother who simply just cannot afford to shell out a few hundred dollars especially when it was more than 7x what I thought it would be, really the car is as 2010 how much could it possibly need. I was told at the dealership that I needed to pay for this maintenance package to upkeep my car and being a woman, I am afraid of my car breaking down, after all it is extremely dangerous on the Houston freeways. Anyways here it is a week later, the car is worse than when I brought it in. Once the car reaches 60 mph the whole front end starts shaking, it pulls to the right, there is a clip missing from the back seat so I can't put my son back there, the cd has never worked and you would think after paying so much money they could have atleast ran my car through a $5 car wash. I have had to borrow my moms car to drive to work because the front end shaking is scary so now what am I to do-deal with it evidently. More
I was rear-ended and chose this dealership (close to my job). I stumbled upon problems with the other person's insurance and/or rental car agent not doing their job correctly (neither one claims accountab job). When I called this Director Michael Schwenn to see if he could help, for I was in tears over the injustice, he was such a warm and caring individual that stepped in to assist in resolving the matter, treating me so well that I thought I was back in the 70s where customer service was top notch! It was a refreshing feeling to find a company that cared for my customer satisfaction. He went out of his way to treat me with respect, service and in such a professional manner, that all dealerships should run their operations like this! Thank You Mike and Don McGill for the extra mile that was taken and for caring about me and my vehicle problems. I would recommend this Collision Center to Mike anytime! More

My rep, John Moore was very honest and did everything he promised including discounts. He explained everything and the bill was exactly what he said it would be I was very satisfied and impressed.
