Every time I have been to ToK, I have had problems. The first time I went they recommended a service which I ended up doing costing me over $800. I can’t think of a single thing that I would replace when it was 50% used, and I believe the service salesperson purposefully did not show me the page with that information. The second time I was there I brought my car in for an oil change and to fix the recall on the bumper. I was told it would take 2 hours. I waited for 2 ½ hours then asked what was happening. I was told they had completely overlooked my car and the work had not been started yet. In compensation, the service manager gave me a free car detailing. Last week, I went online to schedule the detailing, and after speaking to someone online, we told I would receive a call to schedule the appointment. I was called on the 27th and spoke with someone who scheduled the appointment for Monday, September 2nd. I asked specifically if they were open because it was a holiday. They told me that the cashier would be closed, but after speaking to someone told me that since I had the coupon for the free detailing that it would be fine. I went in at the schedule time on Monday and discovered that the only department open was the sales department. They had a record of calling me on the 27th, but no record of what was discussed. As I told the manager on Monday, my mom has already begun servicing her car at Don McGill Toyota because of the treatment she has received from ToK. I don’t want to go all the way to Wilcrest because it is inconvenient for me, but ToK is making it hard for me to justify coming to them when there seems to be an issue every single time I go for service. Courteous service team addressed all of my concerns, didn’t give me any pushback on using the prepaid maintenance package I purchased from another dealer.
