My wife and I recently went to Don McGill Toyota in Katy looking to trade in two vehicles and buy one new Highlander and a used Corolla. My wife and I are very experienced car buyers and have a very low tolerance with anyone who plays games. This purchase was going to be our second experience with this dealer. We came back to Don Mcgill because of our first buying experience with them and the maintenance service we've received had been very good. We met Ricky Barake (our sales rep) at the show room and from the very start he was cordial, considerate, and to the point. We explained what we were looking for and immediately he started to work with us in finding a viable solution and developing the deal. Ricky was forthcoming with information and we were able to have very professional discussions concerning what each party was going to be able to do. Ricky navigated us through negotiating process efficiently and effectiviely. As we negoitated the deal, we were always treated with respect from Don McGill's sales managment. I sincerely believe we reached a fair deal for both parties. What has really impressed me, was the service quality we received after we had reach the trade in and puchase agreement. Al in the Finance office who handled the sale purchase, warrenty, and title paperwork. Lincoln in the Parts department. The body shop individuals that preped the used Corolla. The individuals who did the final prep for both vehicles. Ricky, who was always there working in the background to make sure everything was meeting his and our expectations. And finially, Don McGill's management who actually went beyond my expectations, to meet their own expectations. Their actions have set themselves above any dealership I've ever dealt with in my 30 years of car ownership. More

I'm ecstatic to have been referred to Robb Snowbarger at Don McGill Toyota of Katy by several friends! I called Robb in advance to introduce myself and discuss my needs; Robb was extremely courteous, profes Don McGill Toyota of Katy by several friends! I called Robb in advance to introduce myself and discuss my needs; Robb was extremely courteous, professional and knowledgeable on the telephone. I felt no pressure to do so but I scheduled a convenient appointment for a later date. Before my appointment (a week or so later) I called Robb several times asking questions, and Robb answered them immediately and courteously with as much detail as I requested, and invited me to call anytime with questions. When I arrived for my appointment, Robb was promptly waiting and we discussed several vehicles and my numerous questions, which Robb again answered quickly, accurately and professionally. I never felt any pressure to purchase a vehicle or make a decision during any of our encounters. I narrowed my choices to two vehicles, we discussed the pros and cons of each based on my needs, and I initially planned to test drive both Toyota vehicles. My first choice was the 2012 Highlander, and Robb showed me several models and explained options available in each. Once I settled on the Limited model, Robb secured the keys and showed me the equipment and demonstrated how each item worked to my complete satisfaction before I test drove the vehicle. Once I drove the 2012 Highlander Limited, I had no desire to test drive any other and we returned to the dealership. I wanted to trade a previously owned vehicle, so Robb had my trade-in evaluated and we successfully negotiated a final price to my complete satisfaction. Having purchased numerous vehicles over the years through many dealers and sales representatives, I was completely amazed and happy with my choice of Robb Snowbarger and Don McGill Toyota of Katy. I also requested Marcus Shepard to handle the financing and paperwork of my Highlander. Marcus could not have been more professional or courteous, even with my numerous questions. He answered each of them accurately and efficiently, explained my options in detail, and put me completely at ease. I could not have been more fortunate to have Robb and Marcus take care of me, and I felt as though I was one of their family members, even though we had not met previously. When I finished signing everything, I had a complete packet of information, all manuals, a schedule of Toyota recommended services, complete warranty information, a tentative maintenance service appointment along with keys and a full tank of gas. I can't thank Robb and Marcus enough for such honesty, professionalism and courtesy. I have and would recommend them to anyone thinking about purchasing a vehicle. Since my purchase date, I returned to Don McGill Toyota of Katy to pick up my registration and license plates. The service department was exceptional and graciously attached my new license plates quickly and efficiently, without an appointment and with no waiting involved. I can't say enough about the entire staff, and I know I can expect the same excellence and professionalism at future visits. I had a fabulous experience when my husband and I were looking for a car in August 2011. We knew we wanted a Toyota Camry and had been looking at several dealerships online. I was 9 months pregnant and NOT trying to "haggle" pricing. Daryl "Chino" Nguyen listened to what we were looking for and the price we wanted... and we ended up driving away with a FABULOUS HYBRID. Something we didn't think was in our price range! I've sent 2 other people to him already. We live way out in Pearland, and I would drive over there in a heartbeat for the same experience. More

I was extremely nerveous about purchasing a vehicle and not knowing what to expect but dealing with Robb has changed my mindset...I did not know there were dealers that we not pushing you into a vehicle, a not knowing what to expect but dealing with Robb has changed my mindset...I did not know there were dealers that we not pushing you into a vehicle, actually I think my best friend was pushing me more than he was and Robb told her to stop and allow me to just go at my own pace. Upon arriving to the dealership to start my paper work - Robb and Manager of location (James) came up to me and reassured me that everything would go smoothly and to just relax and if a deal happens it happens...WOW! really am I really at a dealership? Once I had driven the vehicles that Robb felt were best suited for me (from the description of the things that I told him that I was looking for in a vehicle) he walked me over to Marcus who was just as nice and who also explained in detail what options were best for me, went over all the documents that I was signing and if I had any problems or questions to please contact him. He made sure that before I signed everything that I felt right about signing and just really made me feel like he cared - last dealership I dealt with they just gave me all kinds of forms to sign and just briefly went over the documents. Once everything was signed and done - Manager came over to make sure everything was ok and it was just a very overall great feeling to walk in to a dealership thinking and feeling one way but leaving having been totally and completly wrong! These 3 guys have all know each other for years and to walk in and just feel like you are going to be totally taken car of with such a HUGE purchase was AWESOME. I would highly recommend this dealership and these employees they make you feel like you are family and not just a sale to them ... how many place make you feel that way. I am going to send everyone I talk to over to see Robb :) I think these guys knowing each other for so many years and the way that they all work together just made me feel more at easy and not like I was speaking with strangers. One thing i hate is sitting at a dealer and dickering over prices and wasting our whole day. Don Mcgill has a beautiful dealership and the wife loves the free lattes they have on site. Long story short is that we will continue to buy Toyota products from this dealership. Just wish they would come out with a new Supra!! :) More
