When my wife & I went into the dealership, I wanted her to ride in the Tacoma to see if she would like the truck. I really did not intend to buy a truck. We met Tim, drove 3 vehicles trying to decide i her to ride in the Tacoma to see if she would like the truck. I really did not intend to buy a truck. We met Tim, drove 3 vehicles trying to decide if I wanted one, and if so, would it be a 2 wheel drive or a 4 wheel drive. We bought a 2 wheel drive and Tim was knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. When I knew it was time to start looking for a new car, Don McGill was the first place I went to. I was a little nervous of that "used car salesmen" stereotype and was afraid that they would try to eat me Don McGill was the first place I went to. I was a little nervous of that "used car salesmen" stereotype and was afraid that they would try to eat me alive like vultures...but that wasn't my experience at all here. Tim Fogarty approached me with nothing but willingness to help and not push. He made the experience not seem so scary like I had been picturing it my head, and instead he made me feel very comfortable. I told him I was looking for a 4Runner and what my price range was. I test drove some 4Runners they had, but unfortunately none of them really fit me. I guess I didn't really know what I was looking for after all, but thought I did. Tim was awesome because he read me like a book! He could tell that my husband and I were a young couple in our late 20's and wanting to start a family. After going home disappointed that I didn't find anything, Tim called me the next day and said he had something "in mind" for me. I thought it wouldn't hurt to go and look to see what he was talking about. My husband and I drove over there the next day after work and Tim had pulled up a Highlander Hybrid for me to test drive. I thought, It's no 4runner, but I'll give it a try. I LOVED IT!!!! It was exactly what I needed, and the fact that it was a hybrid was a plus!!! I knew that was the car for me thanks to Tim! Also, thanks to Chris Tate in financing, we were able to finance it to where it would be in my price range. I definitely recommend Don McGill Toyota of Katy and appreciate how effortless Tim made the experience for me. I can't thank you enough! More

I have been contemplating buying a car for over a year now. The only problem is that I have had horrible experiences in the past from other dealerships. On Saturday, I worked up my nerve to go to Don McGi now. The only problem is that I have had horrible experiences in the past from other dealerships. On Saturday, I worked up my nerve to go to Don McGill Toyota. The first person I spoke with was Berwyn Lagrue. WOW! He made me feel welcome at the dealership. He was very friendly, not like other pushy, rude salesman I had experienced in the past from OTHER dealerships. Berwyn made my experience so pleasant that I decided to leave that day with a Toyota Rav 4. I've had my vehicle for a few days now and am just so happy with it and especially the overall positive experience I had at Don McGill Toyota. Thank you so much Berwyn Lagrue and Kris Tate and Don McGill Toyota for giving me EXCEPTIONAL customer service. I am a 100% satisfied customer of this dealership! More
I dropped my car at this location at 8am for checking brake, oil change and passenger seat wasn't secure. He said I have to left my car there for all day. But John Fedigan has never call me since 8am unt brake, oil change and passenger seat wasn't secure. He said I have to left my car there for all day. But John Fedigan has never call me since 8am until 2:30pm to updated what is going on and how's it done so far. I called and left few messages, he never call back until 3:30. He said on the phone that "the oil change is done, now a mechanic guy check a brake." I asked when is would be done to pick up my car. He said "I don't know". Then 5pm, he called and said "Brake is checked, everything OK. Seat is done. You can pick up your car now" I came at 6pm to pick up my car, John told me that oil change don't need it until 10K miles. When I dropped my car, he checked the mileage but didn't say any word at all about this. Brake wasn't check either because brand new car. Seat didn't touch because defected from manufactory, they couldn't do anything. Why Johnny said on the phone everything is done, everything is checked and OK? How dare he lies so easy to the customer like that? How the Don McGill Toyota in Katy trained their employees treated the customer? I am very displease this dealer. They also cheated the Toyota's main office. How? They billed the Toyota my oil change, part replace and maintenance but didn't touch my car at all. I told them give me another statement written that they didn't change oil for my car, didn't check brake, didn't do anything from check-in at 8am to 6pm on April 3rd, 2012. More
Excellent and professional sales person. I was very impressed with his in depth knowledge of all of the vehicles I questioned him about. It was a tough decision to trade my car in but Mr LaGrue made it impressed with his in depth knowledge of all of the vehicles I questioned him about. Went in on a Saturday to look at a 2011 camry I saw on the internet. Descent price and wanted to purchase the vehicle. Took it for a test drive, then headed over to the finance dept and the total cost of the internet. Descent price and wanted to purchase the vehicle. Took it for a test drive, then headed over to the finance dept and the total cost of the vehicle jumped up $3,000. This was because Marcus(financing guy) put a $2500 extended warranty and a gap premium that I did not ask for . Did not even explain to me or give me an option if I wanted those. That is what started it. Then Ricky said they were going to buff out the car, waited 2 hrs, and came back to me and told the guy who does the buffing wasn't there. A whole 2 hrs? really?I told Ricky I did not want the car and I wanted to return it and he said I couldn't. I then emailed the GM and informed me the deal wasn't final and I could go ahead and get my trade in back. Overall this experienced sucked and is somewhat true what they say about car dealerships. They really are trying to get their moneys' worth. More
