UNFRIENDLY DISHONEST COLD LIKE A CONCENTRATION CAMP AFRAID TO GREET CUSTOMERS My history was that I had scheduled an appointment with Vicki Hoege, service adviser on April 12th of 2024 for an oil chang AFRAID TO GREET CUSTOMERS My history was that I had scheduled an appointment with Vicki Hoege, service adviser on April 12th of 2024 for an oil change and tire rotation. And then the things they found wrong with my vehicle was there was a bad oxygen center, valve cover leaking, oil pan gasket leaking and leaking exhaust pipe. So all that totaled $1544.00. And then she recommended that the oil cooler need to be replaced for almost $1700. I told her that I did not want to do it because I did not see any oil leaking on my garage floor. Scheduled an appointment on December 16th. I actually showed up a week early on December 9th and I made a mistake that I was a week early and I pulled in and Vicki went around and took pictures hooked up her little device and then she came in and said you are a week early and acted grouchy. I said no problem I will come back next week and told the guy in the corner that has the four monitors in front of him why she was being so grouchy and he said that she had a lot on her plate. So I thought we'll see what happens next week. So on December 16th after I pulled in she came out and hooked up her little device and said how goes it. Not good morning how are you doing or any of that kinda small talk. So I went into the service desk and waited for her to come in. And the other service tech in the corner with his four monitors would not even say good morning how are you doing he just ignored me it was like he was gonna be punished if he said anything to me. And when she came in I told her there were a couple of other things that I needed to have done and told her that it was the computer saying that there was something wrong with the air pressure system that needed to be checked and that I needed her to check the fob to see if it would start the vehicle. And she just stood there and stared at me and I said why are you staring at me and then she said well what really do you want I said I want you to check the FoB to make sure that it starts the vehicle so she took my fob out and she said it was working and yesterday on December 21st I tried it and it did not work. So when they got done doing the oil change and tire rotation she came in and said that the oil cooler was progressively getting worse. Which I know now that was a lie! She also told me that the valve stem on the right rear was no good and needed to be replaced for $135 and the two front ones the batteries were getting low recommended replacing them both for $308. Does not make sense that one is $135 and 2 are $308 DO THE MATH I told her that I did not want to do it at this time. After I left there I made an appointment with HOMETOWN AUTO REPAIR to replace the valve stem on the right rear and ask him to check the oil cooler to see if it was leaking. When he was done he told me that the oil cooler WAS NOT LEAKING. It now makes me wonder whether the valve cover and the oil pan gasket were leaking because I never saw any oil on my garage floor so I trusted them that it was and had them do the work. While I was waiting for the service to be completed I thought I would check to see if the Buick was able to start from an app. When I walked in the receptionist While I was waiting for the service to be done in the waiting room not one person that walked by me said hi how are you doing good morning or nothing. It looks like to me it's being run like a concentration camp. They just look forward and seems like if they would say anything to me they would be punished for being friendly. It's just not the same Don Larson when Don and Gloria were running it. Now the kids are running it and it's just so unfriendly. and i have heard that from other people. We are about to purchase a new Buick and it will not be from Don Larson. I will never ever take a vehicle to them for service. They need to take some lessons from businesses like Festival Foods and Culvers on customer service RUSS FENSKE BARABOO More

Took my truck in 5 times for squeaky brakes. They basically told me they could nothing for me. This is a brand new truck with 25k. Issues with brakes started with less than 3k miles on it. My last basically told me they could nothing for me. This is a brand new truck with 25k. Issues with brakes started with less than 3k miles on it. My last appointment was a bust also. Asked them for a loaner and would drop off my truck the night before, which is what I had the previous 4 times. Got there and oops we don't have a loaner and there is nothing we can do. Drove 25 miles one way just to be sent home. This is just a couple of the issues I have had with Don Larson. Other minor issues on oil change. They didn't put sticker inside(not a big deal) and they didn't remove the temporary floor mats. These alone are not a big deal, but with everything else they are just icing. More
Beware: Went in for a tire rotation (free service as a result of buying tires from them). Came out with a terribly squeaky wheel, plus my vehicles tires pressure sensor not reading correctly. After servic result of buying tires from them). Came out with a terribly squeaky wheel, plus my vehicles tires pressure sensor not reading correctly. After service told me to call back if it didn't fix itself, I was back in. Long story short, upon my second trip back (within two weeks from original tire change) was told that I would be charged $180 to have it inspected. After asking why because it was their work which induced this issue, they ultimately the manager said they couldn't guarantee their work. In the end, I asked..."So, just so I'm understanding this correctly, you want to charge me more for fixing a problem that you created? In other words, you don't guarantee your work?" The reply was as bad as I had thought..."Yeah, that's pretty much it." And unfortunately, that's why I will not be going back. I don't ever really write bad reviews, usually only positive, but this was just bad. And if I can save anyone the hassle (and even from the deceptive business practices?) then I'm happy to share my experience over the past couple of weeks. I will be taking my business elsewhere. More

Extremely Disappointed. Never go there again...!Booked Extremely Disappointed. Never go there again...! Booked my service appointment for squeaking noise from steering and rear turn signal light bulb repl Extremely Disappointed. Never go there again...! Booked my service appointment for squeaking noise from steering and rear turn signal light bulb replacement. Asked them for the price over the phone and they told me $49 for diagnostic and $25 each for bulb change. Upon reaching there and pulling my car inside I talked with service agent (I think her name was Amanda) about the issue and told her to let me know about the squeaking noise while I was waiting there. After waited for 45-50 minutes I went there personally and she told me that their mechanics didn't found any noise from steering and also they can't replace the bulb because it was after market LED bulbs. I went for a test drive with the guy and let him listen the squeaky noise in their parking area and also mentioned him that I never replaced the bulb. It was all original part. He said that he will recheck it again, So he took the car back in and just visually check from the bottom and pulled out in 15-20 minutes. When I went there to pick up my keys she told me that I have to pay $155... I asked her why? and she replied that as they have to visually check my car two times the diagnostic charge was doubled. They only check my car visually, didn't open any part of my car except oil change only which is $39.95. But I end up paying $155.91 which is not acceptable. And the Service Agent was rude and don't want to fix this issue also. I told her that when I called and booked the appointment they told me $49 for diagnostic. She said she don't know who was that person and she didn't even wants to talk more about it and gave me a receipt to sign. Sorry but you can not over charge me this much amount for just changing the oil and visual inspection More
