I live in the Superior WI area and checked out the local dealers first. The Superior dealership was recently bought out and is now a cash for clunker/free vacation/double your tax return (whatever that mean dealers first. The Minnesota dealers' sales people were all nice, but they totally low-balled my trade value way below the blue book trade-in value. I was totally ready to never buy another Chevy again, but on a whim decided to take a drive to Don Johnson's in Rice Lake. The sales person Kelly was not pushy and was very respectful. I ended up making a great deal that day, and while I am sure they would be happy to sell add-ons etc., they never tried to hard sell them. A simple, no surprises transaction, the way it should be. They will be first on my list the next time around. More

I bought a hard to find truck from Don Johnson Motors. I traded my car I have had for 6 years for a very fair price. He gave me a tour of the dealership and introduced me to Sales Managers and all of his co-workers, just in case he is not there and I were to ever need anything, I would know who to go to for help. I signed my loan papers with a peron, David told me was new to the dealership, her name was Amanda. I would not have known she was new if he had not told me. She was thurough and knowledgeable with her products and was not pushy or nervous, just friendly and honest. This was the easiest and most seemless buying experience I have even had. Unfortuneatly, I live in the Hudson WI area, and I will not be able to do all of my service work there, but, whenever possible, I will definately stop in and visit my new friends at Don Johnson Motors in Rice Lake. I am glad to say since I left the dealership, I am confident that I had made the very best buying decision. This was very reassuring as I had such a long drive and felt like when I got there everything would be as represented and it was. the customer service was A+ and despite the long drive I would do it all over again in fact I would consider them for a future purchase just because they were so friendly and easy to work with.
