A Hotlanta Mess My husband and I had our eye on a vehicle. We called the day before and confirmed that the vehicle was still there and it was. Told the sales rep the night before that we were coming for that particular vehicle and paying cash. We show up about half an hour after opening and the sales rep has the key but not a clue where the car itself is. So we drove in a golf cart on some lots and then in a vehicle looking for this car. Finally found it. It's as dirty as the picture from over a month ago...and has flat tires...and won't start. Turns out, after 15 minutes, that the starter is bad. And they won't have the part in for at least 2 days. At this point, I'm really glad I made arrangements to stay overnight (hear the sarcasm here?) And get up early. All to drive back home and find the car we really wanted 15 minutes from my house. Not only was our situation less than amazing, but the whole place was a rat race of fluorescent lights, people, noise, and bad decorations. And our sales rep had a mouth like a sailor. Now listen, I'm no prude and my own language can be filthy...but not in front of somebody I've met 3 minutes ago and in front of mixed company. If you want your car deal to be easy, focused, and calm, don't go here. More

I think that Mr. Terry thought I was crazy that I was going to purchase a vehicle without coming in and seeing the vehicle. Well, we completed the transaction. I live three hours away from the dealership. Most dealerships think that the buyer has to be on their lot to purchase. I told Mr. Terry what I wanted and how I wanted to work to accomplish the transaction. All I needed were the VIN#, the color, and the invoice from the dealership. The only reason that I end up at this dealership is because my local dealers and boarder state dealers rejected the approach in how I wanted to do business. My family members did stop by to view the vehicle with Mr. Terry before I sent the documents to finalize the purchase. They said that he was pretty cool. I have three more vehicles to buy in my lifetime and two will be with Mr. Terry wherever he maybe at that time. More
