I AM SO THANKFUL FOR MR. SCOTT FICKERT! I went in with the lowest expectation! I never thought I would be driving a 2022 off the lot IN MY NAME ONLY!!!! You would think i SCOTT FICKERT! I had my two very young grandchildren with me! NOT ONCE did anyone seem like they were a hassle or a bother! Scott was the kindest person! But most of all he got me into another dream car! We decided on the Ford Explorer or the Mitsubishi Outlander. I went to Sam Pack’s Carrollton over the weekend and the salesmen there had zero interest in selling me a car. They pretty much told me I would have to just go online and pre order, they didn’t even bother looking around at other dealerships for me. I was very disappointed, considering I just purchased a Bronco Sport from them a few months ago, so I dusted myself off and left. I decided to Google search the closest Mitsubishi dealership, Don Herring in Plano was the one that came up. When I pulled up to the lot they didn’t have much inventory, but once I saw the few Outlanders they did have in stock I knew my wife would love it. Albeit I did the car shopping on my own, while she was out doing some motherly duties. As I’m walking around the lot Scott approaches me and starts chatting, and from there I knew I was buying a car from this dude. Dealing with Scott Fickert was/is like dealing with your fun cousin at a family reunion. He’s personable, friendly, and a no nonsense kind of a guy. They didn’t have the model that I preferred, so he told me he would call me in a couple of days when their next shipment came in. Scott stayed in constant contact with me via Text/phone calls through the whole 3 day process. When the shipment came in on Tuesday my wife and I headed straight to Don Herring in Plano! She test drove a couple of outlanders and decided on the one she wanted. A couple of hours later we were proud owners of a brand new Outlander! Car salesmen like Scott are a dying breed. People don’t buy cars from the manufacturer, people buy cars from people. If you had more men like Scott out there then Japan would probably run out of material to make their cars, because him and his clones would sell them all.
