Great experience I took my car in for an engine light and Stabilitrack issue. Ended up finding an issue I didn’t know about, plus finding out I needed a new wheel bear I took my car in for an engine light and Stabilitrack issue. Lied to I had my vehicle at don hall for a transmission issue, and traction control issue. Was told the technician guesses I need a transmission. I informed t I had my vehicle at don hall for a transmission issue, and traction control issue. Was told the technician guesses I need a transmission. I informed them I had aftermarket warranty, the aftermarket warranty company doesn’t fix things based off guesses. So they told me they can’t figure it out so I paid my 1 hr labor and was picking the vehicle up. The driver got in my vehicle to pull it around to the service lane but the vehicle wouldn’t go in gear. So they reopened the ticket and refunded my money. They pulled the transmission pan and seen no issues, only found some bad transmission fluid. They put it back together and told me the tech had been driving the vehicle for around an hour with no issues and it was driving just fine. The service manger told me his tech that took the guess was obviously wrong. That it didn’t need a transmission and that no lights are on and it was operating as designed. I had them fix the shifter cable as it broke while at the shop, so I paid them for that and the diagnosis time, pick the vehicle back up from them and drive 3 miles and the service traction control light and service stabilitytrac light came, as well as the check engine light. After reviewing the mileage before and after they only put 15 miles and on vehicle even though I was told it had been driven for an hour and had no issues. I wouldn’t suggest choosing Don Hall for any GM needs. More
