Let me start by saying I'm not the easiest customer to deal with. I'm extremely particular and I ask an overabundance of questions by my own personal nature and the nature of my profession. In my search for a new vehicle, I searched on multiple platforms and contacted dealers within 200 miles of my home in order to find what I was after at a reasonable price. That served to be a difficult task in the current market. After 2 bad experiences in less than 1 month, I was reluctant to contact another out-of-state dealer. After finding a vehicle that seemed to fit most of my search criteria, I contacted Don Franklin and gave it another try. I first reached Makayla who was very helpful in getting me in contact with a sales individual and providing some initial photos of the vehicle as there were none available online given the vehicle was just listed. I was put in contact with Rudi who would proceed to provide me with the best service I have ever received at a dealership. I've purchased 7 other cars over the course of the last 20 years and I have never experienced customer service quite as he provided. Being nearly 5 hours away from the dealership, I wanted to cover all bases before making the journey to purchase the vehicle. Rudi obliged by providing me numerous photos of the vehicle, including multiple interior, exterior and mechanical, even when he had to endure the elements outside to do so. He presented me with a top offer on my trade, meeting or exceeding what other dealers offered, and worked with me to obtain the most competitive financing rate possible. After much deliberation and multiple text messages, I decided I wanted to move forward with the vehicle. Rudi offered to have the vehicle brought halfway to me so I would not have to make the full 5-hour journey. However, due to my nature, I wanted to see and drive the vehicle before making the purchase, something I would not be able to do if they were to meet me with the vehicle. After traveling to the dealer, my wife and I were greeted in the parking lot by Rudi. He had the keys to the vehicle in hand and had it pulled to the front of the building, ready to go. After taking the vehicle for a test drive, it was clear that the quality was as advertised and I needed to move forward with the purchase. Rudi had the majority of the documentation prepared prior to our arrival, so the only waiting that occurred was financing, which was a short amount of time overall. This gave us time to get to know Rudi, who openly talked about our experience and himself as if we had known each other our entire life. By the end of the transaction, I felt like I was purchasing from a friend, not just a salesman. I would recommend Don Franklin and in particular, Rudi, to all who were looking for a new or used vehicle. It was well worth the time it took to travel to their location just to experience the fantastic service that was provided. I will keep them in mind for future purposes and I hope to keep in contact with Rudi for years to come. More
