I ask the sale man and he's response to my question was the light would go away or it really didn't matter because he was having the same problem in his Nissan. After so much pressure from the sale dept to purchase this car I finally signed all the paper work around 11:oo pm,they quickly wash the car and handed me the keys to my new Nissan. Now all this time I am thinking I am buying a new car with only approx 20 miles since new but the real mileage was closer to 100 miles, after I push the odometer which was sitting logging trip "A" miles. The light continue for approx. 2 weeks which Trophy Nissan came to my job and took the car back to the repair shop, after working on a new car for two days the car remained the same with the engine light on which by now the engine was missing very bad. I decided not to deal with Trophy Nissan and took my car to Don Davis Nissan where they took the car under the supervision of Carrie Fantasia and within a week they were able to fix the problem. I am very happy with the service they provided not only fixing my car but taking me to work every morning and providing me with a rental at no additional cost to me. My first Nissan 2012 and most likely my last Nissan, I have learn a hard lesson. Sorry & Thanks Ms Carrie More
When I bought car I purchased service agreement. On average it takes 1.5 hours for a oil change, that is crazy. I ask how long it is going to take and always told about 30 minutes. This has happened 5 average it takes 1.5 hours for a oil change, that is crazy. I ask how long it is going to take and always told about 30 minutes. This has happened 5 times so far. I understand if you can't get to it but tell some one don't maker them waste time. Very unprofessional, don't bring your car here for service. They have also damaged my car while in there care and tried to tell me it was there before. They also try to sell you things you don't need. Read the owners manual before you say yes to anything you didn't ask for. They are scamming on people that don't know any better.I More

Then they put in the wrong weight oil from what the manufacturer recommended. Took 2 hours and 15 minutes to get out of the place. Spoke to Jason Barling (the General Manager) about the hassle, he made promises he did not follow up on and now doesnt return calls. RUN AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!! The service is horrible and you can get better service at other dealerships. More
The Service Rep. at Don Davis, Marc Prestwood, LIED to me 3 times about when my truck would be ready. First When I dropped it off at 7:45AM, he said it would be ready mid-afternoon. OK. I had not heard fro 3 times about when my truck would be ready. First When I dropped it off at 7:45AM, he said it would be ready mid-afternoon. OK. I had not heard from him by 4pm so I called. He said it was not ready but should be by 5pm. I arrived back at the dealership at 5pm. It was still not ready, but he said it should be "soon". OK. I waited until 6:45pm and then it was finally ready! Please save yourself the headache and DO NOT deal with Don Davis of Arlington! More
Please, for your own sake, stay away from the service department at Don Davis Nissan in Arlington, Texas! My sales experience was great, however, I hate this place now because of the service department. department at Don Davis Nissan in Arlington, Texas! My sales experience was great, however, I hate this place now because of the service department. I will never return to Don Davis Nissan for anything ever again!

I bought my car from here three years ago. Ever since, I have had nothing but problems with the service department. Most times I can not get a straight answer from service advisors or even get work done correctly which means I have to keep coming back to get the same things fixed over and over again! Plus, it seems like I lose pieces of my car there too. For example, they rotated my tires and by the time I got the car home, two lug nuts from the same wheel were missing!

There is never any consistency in Service Advisors here either. It appears like there is a revolving door at this place and they can not retain any advisor for any length of time. The same goes for Service Managers. I’ve seen three different ones in the past three years. If Don Davis Nissan can’t make their own employees happy, why would they try to make a customer happy!

I even had a fuel pump go bad on my car at 36,342 miles. The bumper-bumper is up at 36,000 miles and the dealer wanted me to pay several hundred dollars to fix. I convinced them that the part had been going bad prior to the end of the bumper – bumper warranty expiration and they did a “Goodwill” adjustment to pay for the service. Here’s the kicker though… The fuel pump is covered under the powertrain warranty which is 60,000 miles and should have been covered all along. Why did I have to argue the point? Can you understand why I don’t believe anything that they tell me?

My most recent adventure was to replace a clutch that has gone out after 24,000 miles. I had the clutch replaced once already because of a defective clutch disc and now my clutch has gone bad again. The service department does not want to accept any blame for this even though I firmly believe they didn’t do the original replacement properly. They have ever accused me of abusing the car and therefore will not honor a warranty on the flywheel which is burnt too. I understand their skepticism, but I NEVER abuse my car. In fact, I baby it because I want the thing to last forever so I don't have to buy a new one anytime soon. I take offense at their accusations and feel that they are ripping me off with a $1500 price tag for something that is not my fault.

Please do not take this review as one person being mad over one incident that is costing a lot of money. My anger stems from years of unacceptable service. I would gladly offer a good recommendation if I had one. I’ve spent may dollars at Vandergriff Chevrolet and absolutely LOVE them! So as you can see, my anger does not stem from having to spend money to fix a car.
More
