Price Switching For Brake Service I needed brake service done on both axles. I received an estimate for 458 dollars which I agreed to. Upon arriving to pick up my car, I was given a to I needed brake service done on both axles. I received an estimate for 458 dollars which I agreed to. Upon arriving to pick up my car, I was given a total of 529 dollars. Service advisor told me the cost for the front axle was 329 dollars, not 199. I asked why I was told the cost for the front was texted to me at 199 and was told that amount was due to a computer glitch. Don Davis refused to honor the lower price quoted. Very dishonest pricing for my brake service. Will not return. More
Terrible experience! I made an appointment with Don Davis Nissan to check and suspected leak in the front end of our 2018 Nissan. When I talked to the service advisor he I made an appointment with Don Davis Nissan to check and suspected leak in the front end of our 2018 Nissan. When I talked to the service advisor he said they were very busy and probably wouldn't get to it until the next day. I said ok and took the shuttle home. The next day I heard nothing from the service advisor so I called the service department I was told the advisor would call me back. When he didn't call in a couple of houses I called again and got him on the phone. He told me he would check into the status and call me back; he said he didn't think it had been looked at yet. He never called me back so once again I called him. He kept me on hold for a while while he checked the status and finally said it hadn't been looked at and didn't know when it would (this was mid-afternoon). I told him to forget it and I would pick up my vehicle. I asked why I made an appointment and was told it was only a "check in" time. That tells me when I "check in" my vehicle I should have no expectation on when it would be done. The next week I took the vehicle to Clay Cooley Nissan, checked in at 9:00 a.m., and it was fixed by 10:30 a.m. What a difference! More
