I had an appointment at 11:30 on 13Jan12. I was out of there by 12:10. The waiting area is comfortable and the free coffee was nice as it was a miserably cold and windy day. I had to have my car towed into the dealership. I had a large puddle of fluid under the car in the garage and the car was heating up. I arrived first thing in the morning and was told they would have to wo large puddle of fluid under the car in the garage and the car was heating up. I arrived first thing in the morning and was told they would have to work me in so I was given no indication of if/when I would know if it could be fixed on that day or if I needed to rent a car so I could get to work and start my day. I also had work done on my car over a year ago regarding an oil leak and told them it was not fixed (still leaking)and on every occasion I have had it in since I have told them it still leaked. When Jeremy came out to tell what they had thought might be the problem, he also proceeded to tell me the oil leak could cost up to $750.00 after they got it apart and took a look at the gaskets. 1. He wouldn't look me in the eye when I was questioning him about "how much would it have been if they would have looked at it when I first stated the leak was still there?" 2. He just stopped talking about it like it wasn't important. I chose to not have that fixed at this time (I am planning on looking around and getting other estimates cuz I really want it fixed this time) I also told him I was in a month earlier because my engine came on and it was put on the computer and I was told it was a false alarm and it was reset. It was very frustrating to then a month later have to have my car towed in for a major problem. Was it misread? I feel like it was a warning sign that was ignored. Never bought a vehicle from a dealership as nice as this one. On top of great customer service at the point of sale, they service it for WAY cheaper than what I could do myself. We have always purchased our Hondas at Don Ayres. The main reason is not only are Hondas nice cars, but because of the truly outstanding service and body shop. Doug Settle has always done an excellent job with customer service. He was recommended by a friend when we bought our first Honda. On a trip a few years back, our car broke down after we made a st customer service. He was recommended by a friend when we bought our first Honda. On a trip a few years back, our car broke down after we made a stop. Doug was able to talk me through the process to get the car into gear (brake switch). He also helped me to locate the nearest Honda dealer to get the problem fixed. My wife is almost always the one to take the vehichle in for service. She is treated with respect by all of the service dept. staff. That doesn't happen at all service/repair shops. Keep up the great work! More
