They keep me informed on what service will be done on my lease vehicle and what will be needed at the next service appointment, which is really helpful in these economic times. The overall experience at the dealership was good even though we were not able to get much of a discount on the new vehicle. We were not willing to sell our used car to them for the trade in price that th though we were not able to get much of a discount on the new vehicle. It was a great experience. They worked with us to get within our budget, plus get us the vehicle we wanted, a Honda Pilot EX. Ben Maggert is a great salesman. Back in 1989, I had purchased a Honda CRX from Don Ayres Honda and was very satisfied with the quality of the car, as well as the service department, so we decided check the dealership out. Our salesman was Anwar. Anwar, Carlo, and Bill, as well as the rest of the staff treated us excellent and were very patient, handling all the matters in the highest professional manner. Anwar particularly was easy going, answering all the questions we had and if he didn't know the answer, he tried and find out for us. The first car we purchased was the 2008 Honda Civic LX. We liked how we were treated so much, we decided to go ahead and purchase a second replacement car, the Pontiac G3. On the day we took the cars home, we made several stops in Ft. Wayne and in Churubusco. Several individuals inquired about the Pontiac G3 and the Honda Civic, since they were also looking for replacement cars. Our experience was so positive, that we have recommended Don Ayers Honda and gave Anwar's business cards to them and others who have asked since...we would pass more out...but have run out of cards!!! Mark was very informative of the product, and tells ya how it is. I always knew that Honda was a good product but after driving the vechile & listening to him I was "sold" on the car. Benjamin Maggert was freindly, informative, responsive; led my wife & I from looking at CR-V & Element vehicles to the Accord CrossTour. These men are wonderful! They have always gone out of their way to make sure that I am happy with my Hondas. I have purchased 4 HOndas at Don Ayres. I was ready to give back my 2007 Accord due to a noise their way to make sure that I am happy with my Hondas. I have purchased 4 HOndas at Don Ayres. I was ready to give back my 2007 Accord due to a noise in the front drivers side window that was really bothering me. Doug spent time figuring out where the noise was coming from and fixed it! He even worked me in to get it fixed before I took a trip....in his words "so I wouldn't have to hear it on the drive". That is true customer service with care! I can't say enough about the service I have gotten from Doug and the rest of the men there. I would never go any place else in Fort Wayne! I'm moving to Iowa in July 2011 and I am concerned about what kind of service I will get there. I may come back here for some of it when I visit family here. More
