Had an appointment for service and tire rotation and was told that the power steering fluid smelled burnt and did I want the system cleaned and fluid replaced. I asked when this was supposed to be done and was told around 50 thousand miles and my Civic had 88 thousand miles on it. So my bill was $80 more that I expected.Also I change oil every three thousand miles and ask the guys to put that on the reminder sticker but the last three time that has not happened. We own two Honda automobiles and the service department at Don Ayres is the textbook example of outstanding customer service. All the service people there are very friendly and helpful. I am especially pleased with the service adviser Doug Settle, however they are all excellent. Just as important is that their work is first-rate. They have always correctly diagnosed and fixed problems the first time. I never feel they are trying to rip me off. In fact sometimes they will bring to my attention a problem that does not need to be repaired immediately, but rather should just be monitored. In other words they don't recommend to get something fixed right away unless it is absolutely necessary. We could not be any more happier with the service department and would recommend them to anyone. We will keep buying Hondas and getting them serviced at Don Ayres. More

I did not answer several of the questions because I wanted to rate both my salesman, Rick Z. and the sales manager, Bill and the finance lady, Jami on duty at the time of signing paperwork 7-9-11. R wanted to rate both my salesman, Rick Z. and the sales manager, Bill and the finance lady, Jami on duty at the time of signing paperwork 7-9-11. Rick was fantastic. Rick tried to get neccessary things taken care of before my complete purchase transaction. He is still wanting to assist in issues that were addressed at the time of deposit and purchase that I feel was just "iced" over since I'm a woman and to get me out the door. While in Jami's office signing paperwork she was rude and very impersonable. I had the feeling that she was ticked off because I was approved elsewhere on my own for a much lower interest rate than she offered Rick to present to me. That is my right to "shop" elsewhere for financing. When completing signing paperwork, I went into the showroom and looked for Rick, whom was at the sales managers desk. Bill was reprimanding Rick for promises made that should have not been promised. Bill stated that he was not going to put tires on the vehicle that he was already losing money on the deal and he might not even close the deal even though it was promised by the sales manager on 7-9-11, if that's what it took to close the deal, I heard that myself. I felt sorry for Rick for this managers actions, volume and attitude. Had I not already signed paperwork or been another prespective customer in the showroom I would have hit the doors quickly and took my business elsewhere. After leaving Don Ayres I received a phone call from Bill apologizing. Quite frankly he didn't want to hear me out. It was a phone call like he was "covering his butt". I am a returning customer. I have purchase 2 vehicles prior, along with my parents and my son in purchasing vehicles and service. After Bill's tyrant and Jami's attitude I would not be so committed to Don Ayres. I can not believe that for a new set of tires, what $300 maybe, that I would recieve such the run around. The noise that I heard is still present, and I stopped by on 7-12 and talked to Rick. I will be bringing the car back on 7-14 per Rick because that is my next day available due to my work schedule. On the day of pick up 7-11, Rick told me that he was told that the noise we heard was a low tire. I recently bought our family's 9th Honda from Don Ayres. Besides the Honda quality, I come back due to Doug Settle's service area. Any questions, they call me and still get it done on time. At times, I feel it it is like the show Cheers, Doug and the staff great me by name and I know (and trust)them. More

He is such a positive asset as Service Manager of Don Ayres Honda. I have also worked with Jay and he also has treated us well and makes sure we are aware of the cost of maintenance (we've really never had any major repairs with our Hondas). The newer service men are being trained as good customer service reps. More

My husband and I went to Don Ayres just "to look around." When we were walking through looking at the used certified cars we were greeted by Anwar. He was very polite, gave us his business card an around." When we were walking through looking at the used certified cars we were greeted by Anwar. He was very polite, gave us his business card and told us to look around and if we had questions or wanted to test drive a car he would be able to help us. He wasn't pushy and gave us room by ourselves to look around on our own. We immediately wanted to check out a hybrid so we talked to Anwar not long after introductions. We went inside and he took some basic information then he got the car and brought it into the car bay so we can check out the car from bumper to bumper out of the sun with plenty of room to move around. Anwar was very thorough explaining the Honda Civic Hybrid and Honda's certified information. Soon after, we hopped in and went for a brief ride. Of course I was in love with the car. Once we got back to the dealership we began all the "fun stuff" by entering information for the purchase. During this time Anwar was very friendly, talking to us like good friends throughout the whole process. He was very personable and made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. We came towards the end of the night and even though the closing/purchase took longer than expected, past closing, Anwar never got irritated that we were past his time to go home. We felt important from the moment we met through to us leaving. Everyone at Don Ayres was very friendly. Any time we walked by an employee we were always greeted with a friendly smile and "Hello." We never once felt like "we didn't belong" at Don Ayres! I have never had such a great experience purchasing a car in my life; my husband and I both were just so pleased with Don Ayers and their employees! We can't thank everyone enough for everything and we look forward to continuing a life-long friendship with Don Ayres! More
