Whenever I call to schedule service they always make it a friendly, easy experience. I love the fact that I can drop off my car in the morning and take the shuttle to work. I called Don Ayres on Saturday July 30, 2011 and talked to Sharon Grorud about the car I was looking for. After discussing what I wanted we were not sure they had that car in their inventory. She told me to Sharon Grorud about the car I was looking for. After discussing what I wanted we were not sure they had that car in their inventory. She told me she would do some checking and would give me a call back. She went out to the car lot and physically looked at all Accords in stock. She came across a Honda Accord SE that was not on her inventory sheet, but it was what I was looking for. After some checking she found they had just received the car that morning and it was available. She called me with the information and I drove into the dealership. I took the car for a test drive and after a little negotiation I made my purchase. This was a very simple process and Sharon did a great job finding me the car I was looking for. More

I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH RICK AS A GOOD SALESMAN. HE KNEW HIS STUFF ABOUT THE CAR AND THE DEAL WE MADE. THE ONLY THING I DIDN'T LOOK AT WAS THE ENGINE, BUT BEING A WOMAN, MAYBE HE THOUGHT I WOULD NOT B KNEW HIS STUFF ABOUT THE CAR AND THE DEAL WE MADE. THE ONLY THING I DIDN'T LOOK AT WAS THE ENGINE, BUT BEING A WOMAN, MAYBE HE THOUGHT I WOULD NOT BE INTERESTED IN THAT PART OF THE CAR. Our overall experience was very good to great. My wife and I visited every dealership in Fort Wayne. Our first stop was at Don Ayers. We knew what we wanted to spend and were looking to upgrade my truck and I visited every dealership in Fort Wayne. Our first stop was at Don Ayers. We knew what we wanted to spend and were looking to upgrade my truck. We saw the ridgeline model but thought were a little over our price range. So after looking all day and having another salesman at Glenbrook Dodge not interested in saling a vehicle we went back to Don Ayers. We looked at some trucks when Brandon came out. He gave us some prices then we decided to take a closer look at the ridgeline. We test drove one of them. We then test drove a blue one and it was the same as the first. We went inside and Brandon worked up the numbers and was off for us by $500. Instead of argueing the point Brandon took the numbers back to his boss and said that would work. It was low pressure. We had no idea that they would finalize everything that evening as it was close to closing time. Everything was done that night and we went home in a Honda Ridgeline. More
Both my husband, Mark Ebbinghouse and myself, Shannon Ebbinghouse are very pleased with the purchasing experience we received at Don Ayres with salesman Jarod Burgess. We were honest w/Jarod and stated Ebbinghouse are very pleased with the purchasing experience we received at Don Ayres with salesman Jarod Burgess. We were honest w/Jarod and stated in the beginning we knew what we wanted to purchase and had a couple other dealerships we wanted to visit as well to compare vehicles to the one we liked at Don Ayres. Jarod was very understaning and did not pressure us in any way with our decisiong making. After meeting Jarod and asking him a "million" questions he was patient with us and answered every question and wished us well before we went to the other dealers. After browsing other dealerships and meeting their respective salesmen we realized we would be most satisfied with making our puchase at Don Ayres. So, we returned to D.A. & completed our purchase with Jarod. We did not purchase a "new" vehicle but it even though it was used it was very "new" to us and we appreciated the fact the Jarod was just as professional with us as he would have been with a customer who did purchase a new vehicle. I have never had a good experience buying a new vehicle. This is no different. I couldn't even get a free bottle of touch up paint. I felt insulted for what they offered me for my used car. How can they be so different from Edmunds or Kelley Blue Book? The negotiating game sucks. The salesman, Jarod Burgess, was great however. We started out looking for a used CRV and instead decided to look at new. Lucky for us he could cross sell to the new car side. We also looked at the Santa Fe Hyundai and for the money probably should have considered it. They have a much better warranty and roadside assistance program but my wife really wanted a CRV. More
