We pre-arranged the meeting, and our sales representative Anwar had the vehicle completely ready for a test drive when we pulled up. The price on the vehicle was fair, the trade-in allowance was fair, and the "customer experience" could not have been any better. Anwar did everything possible to accomodate us, and to completely walk us through the buying process. Business Manager John Hofmann was precise, efficient, and friendly as we completed the documentation for the transaction. Here we are exactly one week later after our purchase, and we are even more satisfied now than the day we left Don Ayres Honda! More

I am customer 640404 on Invoice 382039. I visited Don Ayres on October 1, 2012 at 1 PM for a recall software upgrade. I was told the fix would take maybe 2 hours. While waiting in the waiting room I witnessed some of the best customer service from Mr. Wells who repeatedly visited with his client throughout the afternoon keeping him well informed. I applaud this type of customer service. I think my service was handed off from Chuck to Troy without letting Troy know I was in the waiting room. I believe I was forgotten until one of the nice cashiers finally asked my name at 5:45 PM. My battery was tested at 1:31 PM. This was my first experience visiting Don Ayres Honda for a Honda Service call, I am not sure I will be back. More
Our research led us to Honda, but the big decision was to downsize from a full-size van to a small SUV. I know she needs to sell cars to make a living, but we both felt she served as an objective observer/sounding board for our discussion and at no time did we feel any pressure to purchase something that we may regret later. Her suggestions and opinions seemed to be heartfelt and it seemed our interests were foremost in her mind. The suggestions and rationale she gave us to purchase this particular car were very valuable. We have only had the car for a few days, but having it home has confirmed our decision to purchase this particular car--Sharon's comments were right on the money. We also felt pressure-free from the business manager as he finalized our sale. At my age I am interested in safe, secure and relatively trouble free transportation--not interested in cars as toys or status symbols and therefore don't buy cars very often (we drove our van for 11 years). Sharon's approach to us from start to finish was one of being helpful in order to satisfy our needs. She made this process very comfortable. Given our record of new car purchases, we won't be in the market anytime soon for a car, but when we are Sharon will be the first person we'll call. More
I recently purchased my SIXTH Honda vehicle, a CR-V EX-L. I have very severe back problems from twenty years in the construction industry and another twenty years working on concrete floors as a Technology E I have very severe back problems from twenty years in the construction industry and another twenty years working on concrete floors as a Technology Education teacher. The CR-V with the ten way seat and power lumbar cushion turned out to be the ONLY vehicle/seating combination that would allow me to continue to drive comfortably! I have always encouraged my kids (who each own two Hondas of their own now) to buy Honda for high value, low maintenance, comfort, fun, and "just turn the key and go RELIABILITY". I would also recommend that you at least give Honda a serious look when you choose to purchase your next vehicle. Of special note in my recent experience are: Rick Squires the Manager in New Car Sales, Shawn Baney my Sales Representative, John Hofmann in Finance, and Troy Johnson in Service. Each of these gentlemen get five of five stars from me for excellence in their respective areas of expertise at Don Ayres Honda. More

I had my Odyssey in for an oil change on Friday, August 31st. The morning after my oil change I noticed a rather large oil spot on my drive way. I called in to see whether they could get it in the same day, which they couldn't, so I had to make an appointment for the next business day. What I thought was going to be a minor oil change turned into 5 days that I could not use my car. I live 30 miles from Don Ayres, so I had to waste my time and gas taking my car back to Ft. Wayne. Come to find out the person changing my oil did not drain the oil properly and there was oil stuck in a reservoir, so that is why it was dripping. The service department did not offer to pay for my oil change or compensate me in any way for the major inconvenience this caused. More
I was searching for a newer car with great gas mileage and after visiting several dealerships decided Honda was the right fit for me. Their certified pre-owned cars have a great warranty. I was referred to Aaron Warner by an aqcuaintance but he was not there on my first visit. Ed Feipel helped me by answering my early stage questions and by providing detailed information about each car I asked about. On my second visit Aaron had already talked with Ed so we were all the same page and I did not have to start at square one. In both of my visits, the salesmen were very knowledgeable about the inventory. They honestly shared different aspects of each car to help me narrow down which model would be the best fit for what I needed. When I test drove a car, they made sure I drove in the city and highway because part of my work drive is highway. They were not pushy for me to get in a car but were very patient with my questions and browsing. After I selected the car I wanted, the financing process was quick and easy. Since I selected my car on a Friday of a holiday weekend they gave me the option of taking my car and enjoying it for the weekend before bringing it back the next business day for detailing and certification since it had just been traded in from a lease only a couple days before. During the whole process I felt like my thoughts and needs were highly valued and I was completely satisfied with every aspect of my car search! More
Chuck in the Service Center, showed excellent customer service while I was in on 9/4/12.
