I purchased a 2004 Acura TL in October and was disappointed with the service. I had totaled my previous car so I was in a bit of a rush to get a new one. BIG mistake. None of the salesmen knew disappointed with the service. I had totaled my previous car so I was in a bit of a rush to get a new one. BIG mistake. None of the salesmen knew anything about the car. Apparently one of the salesmen Aaron Warner was the previous owner of the car. I don't think he did any maintenance to the car except change the oil. After purchasing the car I found out the transmission fluid was completely brown and had never been changed. I bought the car with 104,000 miles on it and wasn't told it would soon need the 105k service costing around $1000. This car was not even looked at by the service department before sale. Why doesn't Don Ayers do an inspection? This car had never even had its air filter or cabin filter changed. I was laughed at when asked if the car had been detailed before selling it because it still smelled of smoke. Not to mention after purchasing the car I realized they had taken out the back floor mats and I had to buy brand new ones. Who would take these out of the car before selling? I will never recommend Don Ayers Honda to anyone for buying a car. My lesson from dealing with Don Ayers: Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. More

I am happy to say that we were very pleased with our service from Joe Parra at Don Ayres Honda. We are from Decatur, IL and found the Honda Element that we wanted online at Auto Trader. Joe was very easy to talk to and interested in giving us the best deal possible for our car as well as the one that we bought. I highly recommend Joe and Don Ayres Honda for their honesty, customer service and friendliness. We drove all the way from Decatur, IL, a nine hour drive, to get our car from Don Ayres Honda! Also, we appreciated the efficient way that our paperwork was handled.
