I had negotiated a price and interest rate on a used car, signed the contract, traded in my old vehicle, then later got told my interest rate wasn't approved and my car payments had gone way up. I wanted my old car back, but suddenly they didn't have it anymore! "Your old car is gone," I was told. I was stuck with the new car whether I liked it or not. I had also negotiated a trade-in price on the old car, but when I got the first copy of the contract, they had changed the number, obviously hoping I wouldn't read what I was signing.
