Our first Toyota Corolla was a pleasure to buy. On our way to the dealership we placed a call to salesman Jeremy Parke through a previous contact. He returned our call within fifteen minutes and was awaiting our arrival (even though we failed to schedule an appointment). Upon arrival he showed us the vehicle in the color we wanted, provided the test ride and sold us the car at very competitive price. We had researched the car and sought internet competition in Seattle, WA and Beaverton, OR. Jeremy ensured we were familiar with all facets of the dealership and monitored financial completion to ensure all aspects of the sale exceeded the customer’s expectations. The car was purchased as a valentine’s day present for my wife of 36 years. He was intuitive enough to ask her if it was her valentine’s present. At the completion of the sale to our surprise she was presented with a dozen roses. In summary buying a car from Reno Toyota was a pleasurable experience as a direct result of a salesman Jeremy Parke that was able to adapt and interrelate with us. When dealing with Jeremy I had real sense I was dealing with someone of integrity that understood customer service. :-) More

Where to start.... I should state this review is for sales, not service. On my first day in I was treated nicely and shown all the cars I wanted and appreciated as a customer. Our sales person was ver sales, not service. On my first day in I was treated nicely and shown all the cars I wanted and appreciated as a customer. Our sales person was very friendly and answered a lot of my questions. It just seemed like after the first day, if you don't buy a car from them right away, then they don't care who you are anymore. This dealership is EXTREMELY pushy, rude, and inpatient. You have to haggle for 40 minutes to even get close to a good price. My favorite incident involved when I went in to get some price quotes from them, for some reason they asked for my social security number. When I told them I was financing with my bank... I felt like they did not need that for a price quote. Instead I was told its the only way we can give you accurate pricing... and they assured me my credit information would not be checked, as I did not want to get "dinged". Sure enough a few days later I got a letter from Toyota saying I was pre-approved for their financing because of my good credit. Hmmm shady enough for you? I am pretty sure that's illegal? My second favorite moment, was when the salesperson flipped a piece of paper over and wrote "I will buy the car at this price" and then made an X and a line and told me to sign it. I said "Are you kidding me?, I am not signing this!" And told him to get it out of my face. He explained that would be the only way to get that price, and I said you better check with your manager. Surprise face when the manager came back and said they could do that price but they could not take off the $350 dollar fees when 99% of the dealerships I have contacted fee's are $55. I told them I would drive over the hill to save $300, and they said "You might as well". LOL I did, and I got a car about $800 dollars LESS than I would have from them. Save yourself the trouble when looking for a new or used car and go up the hill to California and avoid the 31 million Citadel, called Reno Toyota. More
Horrible experience at Reno Toyota. The "closer" that the salesperson (Chris) brought in became very angry with us for "not buying today", lunged over the table at me, ripped some papers ou "closer" that the salesperson (Chris) brought in became very angry with us for "not buying today", lunged over the table at me, ripped some papers out of my hands, told me that he wasn't going to let me "shop" their offer (even though the offer was $2K more than another dealership + tons of hidden costs), told us we were not real buyers and asked us to leave the dealership. Yes, asked us to leave. We were also told that if we didn't buy the car from the Reno dealership then we couldn't have it serviced at the Reno location. This was exactly the experience that people dread when looking to buy a car. A manager called us when we left to see what had happened. Promised to look into it and call us back. It has been a week and they never called us back. Now looking at the ratings online for Reno Toyota, it shouldn't surprise me, they have bad ratings all over the place. I have also reported to Toyota corporate. So, we paid cash for a 2011 Sequoia at Toyota Marin had an amazing experience and would recommend Toyota Marin (Paula Londow) to anyone. I guess we were real buyers after all. 100% worth the 3.5 hour drive to not be berated. And, Toyota Marin didn't even attempt to throw in any "extras" they were straightforward and easy to work with. I am in an industry where I am in contact with a lot of people and will make sure to let them know of my experience. More
Horrible customer service bought a car there a month ago and still cant get anyone to call me back with what is going on with the loan. Signed a contract for a 2.9% now no answers!!! 5 days till I am late and still cant get anyone to call me back with what is going on with the loan. Signed a contract for a 2.9% now no answers!!! 5 days till I am late on the car payment for the car I traded in. Left multiple messages and not one call back last time I got ahold of someone in the finance department he was very rude and insulted me!!!!!! Will never buy a car from these jokers again!!!!! Yes I have been waiting for a call back for over 20 days, just tried calling again guess what VOICEMAIL !!!!!! More

Chris is our type of personality and he cares about satisfying US, his customers. He has a great sense of humor, very professional and knowledgable. This buying experience is like nothing we've ever experienced before. His customer service skills are noteworthy! Chris knew that my wife can't drive and since we kept our old car, we had no way to get our new car and old car home. Chris volunteered to deliver our new car to our home in Silver Springs. In order to do that, he had to leave work early, have his wife and kids re-work their busy schedule so she could follow him to our home. Let's see... GAS, TIME, MISSED WORK, INCONVIENCE, I could go on but the bottom line is this. When you need a different vehicle, Chris Clark is the guy to see. This dealership and Chris are AWESOME!!! Thanks Chris!! Adam Marazzo was the guy that made the transaction complete. He got us financing that was far better than we had been approved by my lender. I don't know how he packages his transactions but this was iceing on the cake! Thanks Adam!! More

I had looked up the vehicle (2011 Tacoma) on the internet and knew the model and accessories I wanted as well as dealer cost and and most likely sales price. Glenda helped me find a vehicle on the lot that and knew the model and accessories I wanted as well as dealer cost and and most likely sales price. Glenda helped me find a vehicle on the lot that had almost everything that I wanted and worked up a pricing sheet that was very reasonable (about half way between their cost and the most likely sales price). I had decided to trade in my Highlander and Glenda came back with an offer that was in line with what I had found on Edmunds.com. The paperwork was handled efficiently and reflected their offer exactly. I signed on the spot. The entire transaction was handled very professionally and both Chris and Glenda were courteous and helpful throughout. I have had the Tacoma for a little over a month and I am very happy with it and my treatment at Reno Toyota. I will definitely go back to this dealership when I purchase my next vehicle. More
