My wife bought a used Lexus from Dolan Lexus in Reno, Nevada a few months ago. This car was to replace her previous Lexus that was totaled in a crash that severely injured her late in 2023. We live on the North coast of California and had them arrange for delivery to us of a slightly used Lexus rx 350 with about 6,000 miles on it. It arrived with an ugly injury on the front right fender and multiple slight scratches in other places. These were not shown to us before purchase as there was only one photo in the ad we saw. We expected a blemish free car. Dolan stated that we should drive it to them for repair. Well…. Sure, a 12 hour round trip and a nights stay. She can’t be in a car for any substantial length of time and so we declined that ridiculous notion. Well…. Get a quote where you live. We did and they dismissed it as too expensive. They offered us $500.00, a third of what the estimate was. We want to be made whole again. What now? Silence from them for weeks now! Trying to pressure an injured 69 year old woman to settle for less than something fair! Oh, well! Another demand letter then small claims court in our small town. Judges here really hate to see their community members being taken advantage of. We will see how this goes and update this review. More
