Visited the RV show in Virginia Beach and saw a motorhome we liked. Went to visit Greg at the Yorktown dealership and liked what we saw. Got home and checked Dodd's web site and found another motorhome we li we liked. Went to visit Greg at the Yorktown dealership and liked what we saw. From the time we walked down their sales isle at Virginia Beach Convention Center RV show, they have been nothing short of exceptional. Mike McNeil took the time to go over all the administrative details, never rushing us but rather giving us his undivided attention to be sure all our questions were answered. Jamie Dodd reviewed all the financing detail with us. He showed us every option available for purchase and gave us a wealth of knowledge about products and services that could both enhance our camping experience and protect our investment. The family name Dodd carries with it a great reputation in our community, and Jamie continues to be a credit to that name. Dennis Levick demonstrated the operation of our new RV top to bottom to be sure we understood the operational and safety process for all the major systems in the RV. We did run in to an operator error issue and had to call the service department for HELP!. Joey Lawrence came to the rescue on the phone and latter in the service department. He showed a level of professionalism rarely seen in business today. We were in a panic but he remained calm and talked us through the problem, brining it to a happy resolution. When we did make a service appointment for the operator error, Pete Foertsch was waiting for our arrival and went straight to work to iron out our problem. He evaluated every aspect of the problem and was not only able to correct the issue but his attention to detail improved the overall towing performance of the trailer. From the receptionist Debra who shared her homemade brownies to Mary the parts department guru, everyone made us feel welcomed and valued. We recognize and trust the brands they sell, but more importantly we embrace the way they do business, treating each customer as a part of the Dodd family. I attended the dealer workshop on winterization of a RV on November 16th. Dennis Lavick gave the workshop.
