Horrible Service & Experience We just got our RV back from Dodd RV, and it was such an unpleasant experience, I will never be going back. The problems were numerous, includi We just got our RV back from Dodd RV, and it was such an unpleasant experience, I will never be going back. The problems were numerous, including: • Incredibly poor customer service: their story seemed to change every time that we spoke with them - it caused us to completely lose trust in them • Repairs: they did not repair the problems that we brought it in for (but still charged us almost a thousand dollars) • Time: It took them nearly a month to return the RV to us We made an appointment five weeks before we took the RV in to ensure that they would be able to do the repairs in a timely manner. When we arrived, and asked them to repair a surging generator and a refrigerator that wasn’t working on propane, they told us that they would have an estimate to us by the end of the next day, and could have the work completed by the end of the week. It was 12 days before we could get an estimate out of them, and 3.5 weeks until we could finally get the RV back to drive it off of the lot. Every time that we called them to check on the status, the story seemed to change. Everything - from the specific problem, to the status of the parts that they had ordered - seemed to change depending on the person with whom we were speaking or the day that we called. It was incredibly frustrating, made even more so by the haughty demeanor of the service manager. When they returned the RV to us, the generator was still surging under a load, and the refrigerator still did not work with propane. Worse, buttons that worked on the refrigerator before we dropped it off were stuck and did not work when we picked it up. In all, they returned the RV to us in worse condition than the condition it had been in when we dropped it off. Yet they still had the nerve to charge us almost $1,000 for the experience. We will never do business with them again. At the best, they are a business that are incapable of performing quality, timely work, coupled with a horrible customer service ethic. But after a month of dealing with their excuses and poor attitude, I believe it to be much worse than that. More

From the moment we walked in we were made to feel at home. We were apprehensive and nervous about the purchase as this would be our first travel trailer, but the staff made us comfortable and explained all of our questions in detail. The selection of travel trailers at the Yorktown location was great, but it did make it difficult to choose the perfect one (which is not a bad thing). Thank you to Tina, our sales woman who stayed late and worked hard just for us, as well as a thank you to Jamie, Arnold, and Pete who made the experience well worth while. We've been camping once since the purchase and our family loved it and look forward to many more trips together. Thanks Dodd RV! More

In America we have lost that, at least I thought so. Dodd RV made me a believer again that there is a true American company out there and they care. They believe in taking care of you and the price does not matter. Dodd started a true and honest business and the Family has continued his legacy. If you are looking for a great honest friendly place to one shop, look around and then buy something great you will enjoy and have a smile on your face, and then Dodd RV is the place. The Bang for the buck is there, the customer care and service is above reproach, clean friendly, honest, fast and willing to go the extra mile. The American Pride and dream is with Dodd and the Dodd team and the extended family. I am believer that American can survive and prevail and overcome and grow again to be the best of the best. A wonderful RV buying experience We started looking at RVs 2 years ago & liked Dodd then, but time was not right. We came back this May and everyone was so helpful and knowledgeable - listened to our needs and answered our many, many questions! (We are first time buyers). There was no pressure to buy and Scott was so great in guiding us through the various options. Pete's explanations of the many new (to us) technical issues, which combined with his practical experiences, gave us confidence that we could really do this!!! More
