Our Humble Beginnings
In 1956 a gallon of gas was only 19.9¢ when George Dodd took over the Texaco station that would form the beginnings of the family business known as Dodd RV, a top selling Virginia RV Dealer.
George had a gift for working with people. Customers just naturally sensed that this was a man they could trust. He worked hard to build a reputation for honesty and fairness as he expanded into used car sales and eventually RVs.
Today, Dodd RV carries New RVs and Used RVs including Motor Homes, Travel Trailers, Fifth Wheels, Toy Haulers, Folding Pop-Up Campers and Expandables. We provide a full service operation for RV Sales, RV Financing, RV Parts & Accessories, and RV Service. We just bought our second Camper from Dodd RV! We were so impressed with Dodd RV in Yorktown (and with our Salesperson Greg Guin) when we bought our first Camper, that we went back to him again to We were so impressed with Dodd RV in Yorktown (and with our Salesperson Greg Guin) when we bought our first Camper, that we went back to him again to buy our Second Camper! We wanted a camper to park at a seasonal site and to have one to travel with. We absolutely LOVE our new 5th wheel! Greg was extremely patient with us and must have show us about 30 campers before we found the perfect one! Can not recommend them enough! From Sales, Parts (thank you Rob!!) and right on through to the Business Manager Arnold. NO PRESSURE or heavy sales tactics!! Awesome to deal with!! Can't say enough great things about them!! More

An exceptional experience from start to finish I would like to thank the staff and particularly Scott for the help he provided us in picking out a trailer that was just right for us. He was patien I would like to thank the staff and particularly Scott for the help he provided us in picking out a trailer that was just right for us. He was patient and thorough and provided answers to all of our questions. The whole experience was a pleasure and low pressure...I enjoyed being able to tour all the different choices and ask questions without feeling pressured. We ended up purchasing a Grand Design Imagine BH 3170 and have loved it. We are new to 'camping' and really appreciate the patience and helpful spirit in helping us find what we really wanted.
