Our Humble Beginnings
In 1956 a gallon of gas was only 19.9¢ when George Dodd took over the Texaco station that would form the beginnings of the family business known as Dodd RV, a top selling Virginia RV Dealer.
George had a gift for working with people. Customers just naturally sensed that this was a man they could trust. He worked hard to build a reputation for honesty and fairness as he expanded into used car sales and eventually RVs.
Today, Dodd RV carries New RVs and Used RVs including Motor Homes, Travel Trailers, Fifth Wheels, Toy Haulers, Folding Pop-Up Campers and Expandables. We provide a full service operation for RV Sales, RV Financing, RV Parts & Accessories, and RV Service. Wonderful company!! Last year we went to Dodd in search of an RV. at the time they were very accomodating, and tried to help us immensly, we decided to wait. Poor Customer Service The day after I picked up my RV I called salesman Greg Guin three (3) times to ask a few questions. Each time I got his voice mail. Seems one they have made a sale and have your money that's it, they don't want to be bothered. Very poor customer service...……..never again Dodd RV. More

Dodd’s employees took the time with us to find the nest fit RV for us. There was no pressure and all of our questions were answered in an understandable way. Financing was easy to obtain. The walkthrough w fit RV for us. There was no pressure and all of our questions were answered in an understandable way. Financing was easy to obtain. The walkthrough was easy and we were shown everything needed to go on our first campout. The service and parts department was more than helpful and we’ll definitely be back there. All-in-all we had a great experience and happy to be part of the Dodd’s RV family. More

Love our Imagine RV Want to thank all the staff at Dodd Rv. Answered all questions on Rv models we looked at, no pressure to look at larger models, Excellent service an Want to thank all the staff at Dodd Rv. Our dream RV When we walked into Dodd RV we felt at home. We were greeted by the smell of cookies and a very nice lady inquiring as to what we wanted. Scott Hudgin When we walked into Dodd RV we felt at home. We were greeted by the smell of cookies and a very nice lady inquiring as to what we wanted. Scott Hudgins answered all our questions patiently and showed us several RVs before we found the one we wanted. The process of buying the RV was so easy! We went back to Arnold Smith's office and he had all the paperwork completed and ready for our signatures. Ricky spent three hours with us showing us how everything worked in the RV--I couldn't believe how knowledgeable he was and how patiently he answered both of our questions. This being our first RV, everything was a bit overwhelming. Scott is still in touch with us and constantly answers our many questions. I would HIGHLY recommend Dodd RV !!! More
