Our Humble Beginnings
In 1956 a gallon of gas was only 19.9¢ when George Dodd took over the Texaco station that would form the beginnings of the family business known as Dodd RV, a top selling Virginia RV Dealer.
George had a gift for working with people. Customers just naturally sensed that this was a man they could trust. He worked hard to build a reputation for honesty and fairness as he expanded into used car sales and eventually RVs.
Today, Dodd RV carries New RVs and Used RVs including Motor Homes, Travel Trailers, Fifth Wheels, Toy Haulers, Folding Pop-Up Campers and Expandables. We provide a full service operation for RV Sales, RV Financing, RV Parts & Accessories, and RV Service. Great buying experience! Salesman was very knowledgeable - actually had an online video of the unit that we ultimately purchased. Finance officer explained purchasing process and finance options in great detail. PDI was conducted by a fellow camper. Parts attendant assisted with accessories. Management ensured we were taken care of and no questions left unanswered. All in a relaxed - no pressure atmosphere. Dodd RV ensured that we left with a quality travel trailer and peace of mind knowing that we can rely on them for all of our service needs. More

Very enjoyable buying experience with Dodd RV From the moment we walked in the door at Dodd's, and was greeted by the receptionist, Robin Riggle, we felt very welcome and special! She took us to o From the moment we walked in the door at Dodd's, and was greeted by the receptionist, Robin Riggle, we felt very welcome and special! She took us to our salesman-Scott Hutchins- the very same salesman that we had 10 years ago when we purchased our previous trailer!! He is still the same knowledgeable and patient salesman that he was 10 years ago! I asked a lot of questions, and he answered them all!! We took a few days to make our decision and Scott made time to see us when we came back. After giving us a good deal on the trailer of our choice, he introduced us to the other staff that we needed to talk with. We met with Arnold Smith, the business manager, who very thoroughly explained the financing, warranties, and other programs they have. We met Jamie Dodd,who told us about the Rally that Dodd has every fall in appreciation for their customers. When we came to pick up our new trailer, Pete Foertsch , who we also had 10 years ago, gave us a through pre-delivery walk-thru, showing us everything we would need to know about our trailer. Again, he answered my many questions! We also were introduced to Rob Eller in parts and Suzanne Anderson in service, two very friendly people Thank you to the Dodd RV family for their excellent service!! More

Poor Customer Service The day after I picked up my RV I called salesman Greg Guin three (3) times to ask a few questions. Each time I got his voice mail. Dodd’s employees took the time with us to find the nest fit RV for us. There was no pressure and all of our questions were answered in an understandable way. Financing was easy to obtain.
