I had to take my explorer in to get checked out because the repair shop I took it to said that it had to have a code cleared out by the dealer. We took the car into Iron City Ford and told them what was ha the repair shop I took it to said that it had to have a code cleared out by the dealer. We took the car into Iron City Ford and told them what was happening and that the car also had a recall and we wanted to get it fixed. They called back and said that a part we had just had replaced was to blame and that it needed to be repaired because it was faulty. We gave the ok for the fix and told them to do everything else on the list but 2 other things. When I picked up the car it was having the same issues and same lights were on. My husband was pretty much told sorry about your luck, and if they looked at it again we would be starting over with another diagnostic fee and paying again. I paid almost $1000.00 for an oil change because absolutely nothing is fixed on my car. They did not even clear out the lights or address the recalls ? I am not a happy customer but Iron City had not problem sending right out the door with a broke car and $1k less 🙁 More
Wife purchased a Expedition over the internet and signed the deal on Oct. 27. as of Dec. 2 we still do not have paperwork to get it tagged. Told it would be overnighted 3 days ago. Facing late fees , penalties and a ticket for an improper tag. They use a vendor to do this they say but dont know the vendors name to get a carrier and tracking number. When wife picked up SUV it had not been cleaned and only given 1 key without disclosing it only had 1 key. Should have had 2. Contacted on several occasions with no response. Sent email to several in the command chain with no response. Poor communications and follow up after the sales on critical issues. If you go their way PLEASE Buyer Beware... More
Made an appointment for 10am to get my first oil change. When I arrived I was told their were 2 cars ahead of me that did not have an appointment. Was told that even though they make appointments on line it When I arrived I was told their were 2 cars ahead of me that did not have an appointment. Was told that even though they make appointments on line it is first come first served. Why would you make an appointment if it is not honored? Will not come back here for service again. Took over an hour for a simple oil change. More

I found just the used car I wanted via the internet, and drove from Chattanooga to Birmingham to get it. After a 2-hour drive, it took them 4 hours to wrap up the deal. I was already mentally prepared for being jacked around on price, and it happened. The real disappointment began in the finance department. I had never bought a car out-of-state before, and there was plenty of extra paperwork. I guess that's what you get for a $900 "document fee." But, the worst is yet to come. There was no temporary tag. When I asked about it, they said they didn't have to do those in Alabama. 2 weeks, then 3 weeks passed and no transfer of title to Tennessee. I began to make calls, and left voicemails, but no calls were returned. First to the finance people. Two calls there. No return. Next to the Sales Manager. No return. Then to the General Manager. No return. I looked up the owner of the dealership, a man in Florida named Jack Hanania. I got on one of those online chat deals, and they promised he would call me. Didn't happen. I finally asked to be transferred to someone who was actually at their desk, and not on the phone, and reached "Tammy". She tried to make excuses why, after 5 weeks I would still not have my paperwork. Cited "Covid" and all that crap (You would think for a $900 fee the documents would flow faster) and promised to have the GM call me. Nope. I called the BBB in Alabama and managed to file an online complaint but was told it would take at least 30 days. So I called Ford Motor Credit and then Ford Corporate to complain. All they did was call Iron City and I was given Victor, a salesman, who did some research and "promised" I should have it in a week. Nope. Meanwhile I can't drive the car in Tennessee without fear of a policeman pulling me over. Finally, after 8 weeks, I drove out to my DMV here locally to see what they could do. Thankfully, they had just received the documents, and gave me my tag that day. I asked if Iron City should have given me a temporary tag, and was told "Certainly." So, if zero stars had been available, I would have given zero. When I decided to make the long drive, I felt confident because I was dealing with a Ford Dealer. Misplaced confidence. In no uncertain terms I recommend against dealing with Iron City Ford. I should have listened to the other bad reviews. Be careful. More

I highly recommend them for your Ford service needs ! very Accommodating, I live in Atlanta, my vehicle malfunctioned in Birmingham, while we was there performing , it was towed to Ironcity Ford, after making contact with the service dept there, all my worries were over, they diagnosed the problem and 2 days later it was ready, when, I arrive to pick up my vehicle, they where just as courteous as they had been on the phone !!
