I was in a very bad negative equity situation with my trade-in, and as the end of the year approached GM offered some very nice rebates. Trina worked tirelessly with me for almost a month to figure out the right combination of rebates, incentives, and discounts to get me into my price range and into a beautiful new car for barely more than my current monthly payment! She was very patient and helpful with me, a long-shot customer at best, and it helped me feel comfortable making the final deal. More

Super low ball offer for used car Diver advertises in the local paper that it pays high prices for clean used cars. I had ordered a new car from another dealer and the new car dealer o Diver advertises in the local paper that it pays high prices for clean used cars. I had ordered a new car from another dealer and the new car dealer offered me $19K on the trade. I decided to shop it around in hope of getting a better price. Carmax offered $20k. The final dealer I went to was Diver. The car had a minor accident recorded on Carfax (reported by the police - damage was so minor I didn't even bother to get it fixed). Because of that Diver said he could offer $4K. I could only come up with 3 explanations for the offer - none good. 1. His appraisal was incompetent or 2. He hoped to take me to the cleaners if I bit on the low ball offer and he reeled me in or 3. He didn't want to buy the car and his customer relations skills were so poor he just didn't say so instead of making a ridiculous offer. After he made his offer, I told him of the other 2 offers and his reply was - "those are very fair offers." I sold it to Carmax, they listed it for $25k and it was sold in 2 weeks. More
Good except for one thing... I went to Diver Chevrolet (first time ever) because of a recall issue on my 2010 Malibu. Everyone there was exceptionally friendly, even people I just passed in the doorway ! and because it was a manufacturer recall, there was no charge whatsoever for the work they did, and as far as I know, the work was flawless. The one small problem I had, is that they estimated a time of 4 hours for the work to be done, and they had my car for A LITTLE OVER 8 HOURS !!! for this reason I would not ever recommend this service center, it was a whole day wasted, and I felt like they had taken my vehicle hostage. More

The Service department is top notch as are their sales team! I have even brought in my Chrysler Pacifica to them for oil changes! Just wish Chevy sold a minivan for our growing family!! Great Deal and Excellent Experience I tend to go through cars much more regularly than most people; trading, buying or leasing almost annually. This is the third vehicle that I've purchased from Diver Chevrolet over the course of the last 15 years and the experience keeps getting better. The facility could not be more conveniently located in Wilmington, Delaware and it is both beautiful and comfortable environment, but also extremely well stocked with a very broad selection. They have a huge indoor facility for storage of a really massive inventory. In my most recent experience, I personally heard from Rich Diver, the owner, who wanted to make it known that it mattered to him that I had a good experience, which turned out to be the case. I worked for several weeks with Rusty Dunlop who knows all there is to know about Chevy trucks. I didn't expect the process to take so long, but the finances that I expected to make the purchase took a couple of more weeks to arrive for me than I originally anticipated. With Rusty's assistance, I actually, picked out and worked up a vehicle on the second visit. He never pressured me, and Sales Manager Dave Johnson, offered me an undeniably and objectively great deal right off the bat. Some people enjoy haggling over prices; I don't, but I imagine that they would do it if the customer really wanted a fight to feel like they got a good deal. As I mentioned, I know, without a doubt, I got a good deal and that is a good feeling that I cannot say I have frequently experienced in other car buying situations. In addition to being low pressure and sales oriented, they were extremely patient when my deal took longer for me to fund than I originally thought. Clearly they care about more than just the bottom line. This is a place that treats you the way you would want to be if you could design the car buying experience. They seem to base their formula for success on customer satisfaction and repeat customers because they made sure that I was happy with every aspect of the transaction, right down to setting up OnStar and connecting my BlueTooth. I would never consider going anywhere else to purchase a Chevrolet. More

I just purchased my second car from Diver Chevrolet. I chose a 2013 Traverse LS this time around. He couldn't do enough to help us through the sales process. Never any high sales pressure - only helpful, accurate responses to all of our questions. Diver Chevrolet was, as always, immaculately clean with a large inventory of vehicles to choose from. Clay, the business manager, was professional , prepared, and always to the point to make sure he did not waste any of our time on a Saturday morning. Overall, I would highly recommend the dealership, Rusty Dunlop, and the entire staff at Diver Chevrolet. More
