Oil change 8/28....I've driven my car 3 times since.....oil leaking each time. Service Dept can not get it together! 2nd time in a year I've had issues with service dept. Bought a 2015 Chevy Trax from them at the beginning of August 2021. Two weeks later had to replace the battery for $200. One week after that had to pull off on the side of the interstate (with my two year old in the back) because the car started smoking and stopped accelerating. Had to drop another $450 because of a large coolant leak coming from the water outlet housing (which they told me they had fixed the coolant issue before giving it to me((that was a whole other issue with them messing up & not fixing what they told me they would)). Four days later my check engine light pops on & after getting it tested, I’m told my catalytic converter needs to be replaced. Very broke & frustrated at them and myself for trusting them to sell me a working car. I’m a single mother who cannot afford to keep dropping money every two weeks on a “new” car. They also told me the milage was under 100000 miles when I picked it up it was 3,000 miles over that. Not a huge deal, but still just another mess up. More
I purchased this Nissan 2021 Rogue on August 21,2021 for a birthday present to myself! I drove this car from Saturday August 21, 2021 thru Friday August 27,2021. Then on Friday August 27,2021 the Nissan of Shelby called and said there was an issue with the finance for this car and it was their mistake! I did what they asked and took the car up there and went in asked for Sterling like I was told, never mind I sat there for over 45 minutes waiting on someone to tell me what was going on. Some young girl came an asked me about my income and said they had written it down apparently wrong. Example I make $44,000.00 a year they thought it was $4,400.00 a month. I asked her is Sterling coming out. She went back in and then Charles came out, he asked me if I had $2,000.00 to put down on the car. Mind you I have already signed the contract for the car, already put a down payment down, and I have the contract with me. I told him no. He told me then you can’t keep the car and walked off. The sales man that sold me the car helped bring around my 2018 Honda Accord and I took my stuff from the Nissan. I asked what about the down payment I put down? Come back Monday August 30, 2021 and pick it up. I went back today on my lunch break and spent over 45 minutes waiting on them to give me my down payment back.. Oh, and by the way the VIN#5N1AT3BA1MC803953 has already been sold one time to me, you are buying a pre-owned car!!!! More
I went to get an oil change and was turned away by the person at the service desk. I am guessing they had a bad day and took it out on me. So I went to Nisan of Gastonia and they changed my oil and was out in an hour. They were happy to take my money and Nissan of Gastonia gave great service unlike Nissan of Shelby. They have had a lot of changes and not for the better. More
Let me say this I had all respect for nissan of shelby I have got 3 vehicles from them ok so March 29th a deer run out in front of my car ok got insurance done then call gap got that done then to nissan of have got 3 vehicles from them ok so March 29th a deer run out in front of my car ok got insurance done then call gap got that done then to nissan of shelby well to drop a contract I had got gap needed it drop so did that it was for 2295.00 well it has took until June now after many text telling me the check was sent to just now in June to get 1800 ok so where is the 2295 why only 1800 and I asked got no answer on this at all so for now on I will not come back no more I have all text all screen shots of all msg and paperwork I had to sign on this wrecked car that I got to finish paying off because gap put it down as 2295.00 like the paperwork has on it not 1800.00 More

Terribly disappointed in service dept today waited 3 1/2 hours with an appointment to get work done. My time is worth something to me. Watch for incredible added and non transparent fees (in our case, $1200 on an $8000 car!) and insane interest rates that aren’t shown on the offer (25% for a borrower with zero credit BUT a co-signer with our case, $1200 on an $8000 car!) and insane interest rates that aren’t shown on the offer (25% for a borrower with zero credit BUT a co-signer with 800+ credit!). When we asked why the monthly payments were so high (you should really use the many free online payment calculators) they still weren’t forthcoming; it took a bit to find out they were trying to charge 25%!!! Bottom line? Buyer beware and shop elsewhere. More
