I purchased 2 vehicles from Nissan of Shelby in 2017 when they were just a trailer in the middle of a parking lot and had the best customer service. The folks that were there went above and beyond. My visit this past weekend was a joke compared to 4 years ago. I moved to SC and still wanted to give them a try. Drove over an hour for an appointment that apparently shouldn’t have been made due to them closing for Covid cleaning (which I completely understand), the person that needed to appraise my car had already left, and only 1 of the cars that I was interested in was on the lot. The other cars were not even on the lot yet! When I made the appointment I was very clear about my vehicle, what I was interested in, and the fact that we live in SC. When we arrived after 3 confirmations of the appointment, we were told we couldn’t be helped and basically come back Monday or Tuesday. I was livid when we left! I called Monday to speak with a manager, Richard, and was told I would be called back ASAP with resolution. It’s Thursday and not a word from them. I read through other reviews that the dealership is under new ownership, maybe that’s the difference. It could use a lesson from its humbler days from the trailer………customer service mattered much more. More
