This applies to the service department! I called on a Monday to get an appt for an oil change and was told they were booked for the week. I looked online and they had multiple appointments I called on a Monday to get an appt for an oil change and was told they were booked for the week. I looked online and they had multiple appointments for the following day so I made it. Went in for my oil change and asked if I could have my cabin air filter changed as well? Was quoted $45 and I said sure no problem. 1.5hrs at the dealership for an oil change (with an appointment that I was 30min early for) and an air filter change! I go to pay for the air filter and was told the total is now 69 by the same guy who told me 45! The guy beside him said it was due to labor and then proceeded to explain where the filter was located as if I didn’t know because I am a woman I assume. First of all I should have been quoted the correct price and second the air filter is in the glove box and takes 2 seconds to change! I am a repeat buyer from Shelby Nissan, however I would rather go pay a local service company for oil changes, that I get free at the moment, than have people trying to make money elsewhere! On top of dodging appointments because they don’t want to make them! Def not going back for service and may not be a third time buyer with Nissan of Shelby. More
I can say nothing negative about Nissan of Shelby. If it tells you anything I left crying the happiest of tears. My old car was the last thing of my exs and mine I needed to get out of and after going 2 other dealerships that would not working with me I was ready to give up. I’m so glad I made the hour and half drive to Shelby a weight that has been took off me. More
I was interested in a vehicle and was going to go to this dealership, BUT the salesperson did not make me aware that the vehicle is a flood car. We just picked up our new pathfinder today. Joseph Conner was our salesman. He was great!! He walked us through everything and was there and ready to act on any concerns we had. I am not happy with the service department. I was told I needed new brakes they had the parts. I get a call they didn’t have all the parts that it would be the next day. I don’t hear from servi I was told I needed new brakes they had the parts. I get a call they didn’t have all the parts that it would be the next day. I don’t hear from service department until I come to get my car when I’m told the parts weren’t delivered they would get them the next day. This makes day 3 I get my check brakes they felt mushy they took it mechanic said it needs brake line flush. Why is this not done or recommend sooner. I now have to put out another 145.00 dollars and I’m with out my car another day. The only thing I’ll be letting this dealer do is my oil change and tire rotation. More
Joseph was incredibly patient and helpful throughout my time at Nissan Shelby. The managers and other people took time out of their day to assist me, even with the smallest things. Traded in my PAID OFF 2019 Nissan Altima SR that I bought From them Last year. Test drive the 2018 Challenger and it drove good and was a comfortable ride. Decided to purchase said vehicle. Drove off of the lot and was on the way home with my son when he said he wanted to connect his phone to the radio, So I turned the stereo on and it started glitching and cycling through all the Air condition settings and radio stations. So I pulled over to check it out and notice at an angle you can see a line at the top. Turns out the Stereo /Head Unit is delaminating and doesn’t work, apparently after googling it and speaking with Dodge Customer service it’s a known issue with the 2017/2018 models due to some bad glue (but no recall despite over 10,000+ cases of this) My son then decided to lower the vanity mirror due to the sun shining in his eyes and the vanity mirror is shattered and almost cut his fingers on it upon opening it, so we get back on the road and the GEAR SHIFT flashes a Service Shifter light on the dash as well as a Oil Service Due Alert, so I immediately call back down there and Talk to Alexis who sold me the vehicle and was assured that it wasn’t a problem and that If I bring it back down there they would make it right and not to worry. She also said that they probably just forgot to reset the oil life when they changed the oil. Took it down there Saturday because I work Monday-Friday so I dropped it off with them so they could work on it Monday Morning 9/12/22. So I get a call Yesterday 9/14/22 and the Service guy told me that he was told by the owner to call me and inform me that the owner stated that he was not going to fix a single thing on the car and that by law he didn’t have to do anything unless it pertained to a safety hazard and that I knew full well I was buying a Used Vehicle. Sorry I didn’t know that one of the largest dealerships in the County puts vehicles on their lot KNOWING it has issues and doesn’t disclaim any information and then has the Gall to say well you test drove it. Yep sure did, wasn’t a long drive and didn’t think of turning on the radio which I found out controls the seat heaters and vented seats that she advertised to me which don’t work unless the head unit works…… This has NOTHING to do with the law and EVERYTHING to do with CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SATISFACTION!!!!!! I Bought a Certified Pre-Owned 2019 Nissan Altima from them and paid it off early and ended up trading it in for this one………..Should have went elsewhere!!!!! I will NEVER purchase a vehicle NEW OR USED from you again and Will make sure EVERYONE knows how you treat your customers!!!!! This is just wrong and you know it. Even the people in service department knew it because of the looks on their faces and when I stated what happened they just shook their heads and said I know man. I have purchased over 10 used vehicles from car lots (between my own and for my wife) since I was 16 and I’m 41 now and I can tell you that this is BY FAR the worst experience I’ve ever had with a dealership. Withholding information about the vehicle, telling me about features that obviously don’t even work, And then telling me they are going to set me up with XM satellite radio and then telling me that their app wasn’t working properly only to discover it wasn’t the app it was because the radio itself wouldn’t work and they lied to me. I hope that Anyone who is thinking of purchasing a used vehicle from there thanks twice before doing so. Because they don’t care about you one bit they only care about your money. And once they have the signature on the contract they could care less what happens. More
