We chose this dealership because they had car we wanted in stock. It was 115 miles from us. We were very pleased with our salesman, but don’t know anything about dealership. We didn’t like that they wouldn in stock. It was 115 miles from us. We were very pleased with our salesman, but don’t know anything about dealership. We didn’t like that they wouldn’t let us use our charge card to purchase in full, so we had to make 2 trips there instead of one, so we could bring our checkbook back for purchase 2 days later. More
Na, no good. Purchased a car there. Was sold a warranty. 3 years and thousands of dollars later let's see, 1) I changed a Hallogen headlight myself after they Purchased a car there. Was sold a warranty. 3 years and thousands of dollars later let's see, 1) I changed a Hallogen headlight myself after they supposedly fixed it. $50 only to see that the cord was not hooked up. 2) Battery died less than 30 days after purchased even though I was charged severely hundred dollars for a 21 point inspection. 3) $3,000 repair for some sort of overhaul. And now $2,600 estimate for an air conditioner issue. I refused, they charged $117 assessment fee yesterday, and the car is still broken. Assessment fee ((attaching the car to a machine). But it's okay, plenty of other reputable repair shops around. Letting everyone know how I have been treated. Absolutely no good,, no good, no good, no good, you have my word. More
Not sure if they're just an incompetent sales team or if they're unethical. I contacted them regarding a vehicle I wanted to purchase from them. They told me they still had the car and they could reserve they're unethical. I contacted them regarding a vehicle I wanted to purchase from them. They told me they still had the car and they could reserve a time for me to come out for a test drive and discuss purchasing the vehicle. The next day about 45 minutes before my scheduled appointment receive a text that says the car is now reserved for someone else. The other person would be coming right after me but I could still look at it if I wanted to since maybe that deal would fall through. I asked why I wasn't locked in and when the other appointment was made. They kept giving me the runaround on someone there didn't communicate properly. I said screw this and them. I mentioned how the whole thing was shady. At that point the sales manager, I believe it's Todd Coover, got involved. He was argumentative and took no ownership. I looked up the reviews and mentioned I could see why they're so negative and that I would add to that. Todd then threatened that reviews go both ways and they could do the same. I just laughed and asked that my information be deleted with the. Todd told me he would not do that. If you read all the reviews there seems to be a pattern of mistakes and aggressiveness from this dealer. I'd save yourself some time and stress and just start with another dealer. More
I made my first appointment with the Dimmit Chevrolet Service department 3 weeks before the scheduled appointment date of 12/7/2022. I needed the engine heater recall completed, I had a loose engine shie Service department 3 weeks before the scheduled appointment date of 12/7/2022. I needed the engine heater recall completed, I had a loose engine shield that needed new retaining clips and my transmission from time to time would jam into 1st gear when coming to a stop. On my first visit 12/7/2022 all that was completed was the engine heater recall, I was told they didn’t have time to inspect engine shield issue or the transmission. I was disappointed that I had set the appointment up 3 weeks in advance with the 3 known issues and only one item was completed. I was asked to bring the vehicle back 2 weeks later. I dropped my vehicle off for my second visit on 12/20. They retained the vehicle for three days and I had to repeatedly ask for updates on the repairs. At the end of the 3rd day, they stated the needed to order the retaining clips for the engine shield, not sure why this was not done before my appointment and the transmission tech only had 15 mins the last day to look at the transmission, in which I was told he did have the issue reoccur and he was sending the diagnostics to a GM engineer. To this day I have never heard about the results from the GM engineer. I was asked again to schedule another appointment at the beginning of the year. I attempted several times to contact my service agent after the first of the year to schedule another appointment we finally scheduled one for 2/13/2023 in which I was told that the vehicle would need to remain with the service depot for at least 4 days. Nowhere along the way was I ever offered a courtesy car for my vehicle. It is my only mode of transportation. At this point I gave up having Dimmit Chevrolet fix my transmission issue and ask them only to resolve the engine shield issue. I dropped my car off the night before the appointment and waited for a call on the 13th . Again, I had to reach out a 4:00 and again at 5:00pm to obtain a status. At that point they came back and stated the retaining clips in the wheel well were okay and wanted more information on where the noise was coming from. They requested I leave the vehicle with them for another day. At this point I gave up on getting my vehicle serviced. Dimmit Chevrolet has lost a customer of this very poor customer experience. It’s shame since I bought the vehicle built to my specifications from Dimmit and had an outstanding experience four years ago. I will not be bringing my vehicle back to Dimmit for service nor will I use the dealership for my next vehicle purchase. More
