Great Experience! I live in the Villages and purchased this vehicle from and dealer in the Villages. However I lived in Clearwater for many years and travel back and forth to the area at twice a month. Without having an appointment I stopped in one day with my 2011 SRX to ask a few questions about the car and Bill Kegan and his mechanics were very helpful. I discovered a sound that annoyed both my husband and I and decided to call Bill and make an appointment to have it checked out and repaired if necessary. The dealer gave me a loaner to drive and took care of the necessary problems in record time. I had my car back the next day. This is my first Cadillac and probably not my last. I have always driven a Lexus but I am more pleased with the product and service from Dimmitt Cadillac. More
Great service in time of need! Travelling from Canada to Florida we were "bit" by an enormous pot hole on the interstate. We managed to limp into Dimmitt where Patricia Jones instantly put us to rest, ordered a new tire, as the old one was unrepairable, and hooked us up with a loaner. She processed our tire warranty and we are back to enjoying Florida in our car. We'll be back at the end of our stay to have the oil and filter changed and the car checked out prior to driving home. Thanks Patricia, job well done! More
Courteous up to the point of sale. Up to the point of where I decided to purchase the vehicle, my sales guy Matt, was courteous and helpful. Upon signing the contract, Matt told me that Up to the point of where I decided to purchase the vehicle, my sales guy Matt, was courteous and helpful. Upon signing the contract, Matt told me that I would need to bring the car back to complete the CPO process and the replacement of the tires, which is an hour plus long drive each way. However, I agreed to drop the vehicle off a few days after taking ownership, leaving for the week and picking it up the following Friday. Also, Matt stated that he would need to process paperwork for the OnStar demo mode announcement to be turned off and activate the XM radio. There was no follow through. I had to contact Matt after two days to remind. He told me to press the OnStar button and set it up myself. Again, no follow through with activating the XM radio. Finally, I asked Matt to set up some time with the Aspire team to go over the modifications made to the vehicle when I dropped the vehicle off. Upon arriving to drop off the vehicle, Matt failed me again. I had my wife give me a one hour head start on the drive to the dealership under the assumption that I would be meeting with the Aspire team. Had known Matt was going to fail me, I would have requested a shuttle service. Instead, we wasted multiple tanks of gas. Matt offered no apology and stated that he would arrange a time for pickup for me to spend time with the Aspire team. I then asked about getting a shuttle to pickup me the following Friday, so that I can take delivery of my car, for the second time. He was hesitant to offer the shuttle given the distance but said he would try to work something out. Immediately proceeding, he shunned me away as a new potential customer was arriving at the dealership. This made me feel undervalued and a bit aggravated. Who makes a $70k sale and then turns around and treats their customers this way? Throughout the week, I had to reach out to Matt on several occasions to line up a shuttle for pickup. Finally, the day before pickup, Matt sent a text with the driver's name. The driver that picked me up was very courteous. However, upon arriving at the dealership, Matt was nowhere to be found, and my new vehicle had apparently been sitting outside for days as the vehicle is now covered in water spots that cannot be removed. I'd imagine that is due to Dimmitt's sprinkler system. Again, Matt failed to set up an appointment with the Aspire folks, failed to activate the XM radio and address a concern with the CUE system that I brought up where it randomly turns off while driving. While at the dealership, I inquired about my meeting with Aspire, I walked over to the Aspire welcome desk. Where again, I was made to feel trash. I asked if someone was available to go over the car, no help. I then asked about getting copies of the dyno/tuning paperwork. The gentlemen at the counter took down my email address and said that he would send it over as soon as Mark came in. I still haven't received anything. At this point, if I could return the vehicle, I would. On top of my CUE system turning off every 30 minutes, my trunk door won't open and I'm receiving open door notifications. I am seriously questioning the integrity of the Dimmitt and Aspire teams. More
