Kirk, Tom, Great staff to work with and fair when working out a deal. Kirk worked extremely hard to make a deal happen and it worked out great for us. Kirk, Tom, and Jan all took great care of us from sales to financing. The 2-hour drive to Fremont to get a vehicle was well worth it. More

Buyer Beware - Caution to Used Vehicle Buyers This local dealership has seen the First and Last of my business. If only I'd have heeded the word of mouth warnings of several others regarding a us This local dealership has seen the First and Last of my business. If only I'd have heeded the word of mouth warnings of several others regarding a used car purchase from Dier's Ford I could have avoided the many $$, worries, and multiple phone calls/attempts at resolving the first of two major issues within 6 months of purchase of this 2007 car with 65,176 miles. Before I continue, KUDOS to George Medina in the Service department as he has been the only one in this disgust that has shown GENUINE concern, care, and INTEGRITY to me! He has done his best at being the liaison between me, the used car customer and the shop with an issue that yet, is not fully confirmed as being resolved. The SECOND major issue was pretty much diagnosed over the phone in a call to my local mechanic when my steering FULLY and completely locked up turning a corner. Extremely dangerous and scary! Next day resulted in the car being towed in to my local mechanic, a forced vacation day as I work out of town and had no other vehicle, and a new rack and pinon to make the car drivable. To date with this used car purchase from Diers, in addition to my used car loan, the repair bills have now added an additional $2200.00 in expenses. I don't know of many that can, would, or should have to withstand two separate repair bills of $1000.00+ each for car repairs within 1 month of each other - all within 6 months of the vehicle purchase. At the recent advice of my local bank lender I requested back from Dier's the remaining balance on my loan in order to pay it off and begin used car shopping once again. The dealership would not. This last week has been nothing but the runaround...attempts to drive a used vehicle of interest (at Dier's), similar in year and miles, as consideration to their resolution. The vehicle, of which I had expressed extreme interest in, had recently come in according to the salesman but was not through inspections yet so it was not yet available to drive. So specific arrangements were made with him for my driving it on Wednesday of this past week only to receive a phone call the afternoon of my 5 pm appointment that they had loaned it to a Priest to use and it would not be returned until the following day because he had taken it out of town to a funeral. Answer I received from my salesman to my many questions regarding the scenario - "it was miscommunication in the shop". Furthermore they have it listed on the website for MUCH more money so I never stood a chance at their taking care of me, their customer, to begin with. NO THANK YOU!!!!, to my salesman and Charlie Diers Ford Lincoln Mercury - Fremont, NE. More

22 year Customer...and a TOUGH CUSTOMER at that I’m a 22 year customer at Diers Ford. I am a TOUGH CUSTOMER & yep, we have had some ups & downs, haha. I bought a New ’07 F150 there (from ‘ol ‘Sarge’) and that is still great at 150k… I’ve also taken my Fords there over the years for service on major mechanical work that I just didn’t want to do personally. Recently I special ordered a 2017 Expedition there. Those have all been good experiences, only a couple had relatively minor disappointments. Prior to my ’17 Expedition, I bought a “Certified Ford” 2015 Expedition from Diers, and as is possible at every dealer; I got a bad one. The problem however was something they could not have known about- I’m confident of that. Long story short- It truly IS xxxx getting a bad one. They stood behind the warranty. In the end we dealt & worked toward a fair solution. That’s pretty much what really counts. A dealer who stands behind what they sell. We now own a New 2017 Expedition that we special ordered through them & love it. A nice thing is that when possible, they will return your vehicle washed when you pick it up. Sales experiences have always been good with them…probably because they are not a huge impersonal conglomerate. That is a major plus in my book- I hate going in a place where that ‘corporate’ feeling permeates the air. That pisses me off right away and it’s all downhill from there (so never get that way, Diers). They haven’t ever rushed me, 8 people aren’t jumping on you when you walk in the door & if you really wanted; you could buy a vehicle there in less than an hour, so you are not waiting on them. The waiting area is nice & the service area is nice too. Jay Hancock (service advisor) is a great guy……Always great service & treats you like a friend. Shawn Brown (service mgr.) is good and professional, but not a stick in the mud either. Graham Rennie-Fowler was the rep when we bought our ’17 Expedition, good and fast. Joel Fredrickson (service advisor) is a good guy. Steve Oliver (General Sales Manager) was instrumental when we had a difficulty- great guy. (I won’t mention the couple I don’t like, lol) So that’s what I have to say. Good place. I’d recommend to anyone. More
