Once again, I'm a happy Edge Owner Could not be happier with my new car. Graham and Brandon made sure that I got exactly what I wanted, even though it was not in their lot. They found the exact car, exact color and had all the bells and whistles that I was hoping for. This is my third Ford Edge from Diers and I have loved every one of them. Worst car buying experience ever! First off I'll say that buying a new car/truck should be fun. Having said that this was the worst car buying experience I have ever had. My wife and First off I'll say that buying a new car/truck should be fun. Having said that this was the worst car buying experience I have ever had. My wife and I dealt with Eric Hughes. When doing the final paperwork we asked for a full tank of gas, which is not uncommon when buying a new vehicle. He finally agreed to that after rolling his eyes with a dirty look on his face, along with making fun of my trade in. Once it was all said and done, our truck was not detailed nor was it even washed when we were ready to go. Not even a week later the check engine light comes on. We call Eric to see what we are able to do about this since we've only had it for a week; he says that Dier's cannot be liable for this. I understand if this issue happened a month after owning the vehicle, but less then a week later that I ridiculous! After further talking they sent a check, but did not cover the full amount for the service and repairs. After getting the part replaced that still did not get rid of the check engine light, further digging deeper into it we find out it's the engine. It's good to know we spent over 20k on a vehicle and it doesn't get detailed or properly serviced for that matter, and to think they made fun of my 20 year old Jeep that had over 188k miles on and still didn't have a check engine light on it or any issues with it for that matter. After having this vehicle for over a month now we have already spent $100 to get it properly detailed, which the dealership failed to do and another $300 for parts/labor and further diagnostics. Long story short the expenses keep adding up. We will be purchasing a new car for my wife within the next year; needless to say we will not be going to Dier's Ford Fremont. That is why I am giving them a one star rating, only because 0 was not an option. More
